    After grabbing a huge leather tl belt,I met the peple I wuld be wrking with.Virginia,James and Wilbur were all mre than twice my age but treated me like a peer(同龄人).We gt t wrk nailing the frames f walls.By the lunch break I had hit what seemed like every tugh spt in the whle huse,and pried(撬起) cuntless bent nails.The rest f the day went by quickly as I gained efficiency with my hammer.Sn it was time t pack up.
    As I was leaving,a wman came int the huse.She saw the prgress we’d made upstairs and started lking arund the rms.Then I realised wh the wman was—her family wuld be living in the huse.As she walked thrugh each rm,I culd see her planning where furniture wuld g.
    Even thugh I had nly been there ne shrt day ut f weeks f cnstructin.I felt a great sense f accmplishment.When these huses finished,six families wuld have nice hmes.
