(1)Why did the Egyptian gvernment want t attempt the building f the dam?
(2)Hw were the temples and ther cultural sites saved?

(1) Because the Egyptian gvernment wanted t cntrl flds, prduce electricity and supply water t mre farmers in the area.
(2)Templesand ther cultural sites were taken dwn piece by piece, and then mved and put back tgether again in a place where they were safe frm the water.
(3)Twentyyears.

In a speech tday, a scientist gave her view n the new She said that is imprtant and ur area needs ecnmic as well. but she added, "We shuld nt accept the prject if it puts ur cultural in danger. We must prtect the and make sure that n is dne. Befre she ended her speech, the scientist suggested that we need t cmmittee f experts t the cultural heritage and it frm being harmed.
