Air pllutin is ne f the wrld’s invisible killers. It causes seven millin deaths a year, making it the largest single envirnmental health risk. In cities, air pllutin is particularly serius. Mre than 80% f peple live in the areas where pllutin levels are beynd WHO limits.

Each City Tree is just under 4 meters tall, nearly 3 meters wide and 2.19 meters deep, acting as a chair r a bench. A screen is included fr infrmatin r advertising. Berlin-based Green City Organizatin explains that its inventin has the envirnmental benefit f up t 275 actual trees.
But the City Tree isn’t, in fact, a tree at all—it’s a mss culture (青苔培植). “Mss cultures have a much larger leaf surface area than any ther plant. That means we can catch mre pllutants,” said Zhengliang Wu, c-funder f Green City Organizatin.
