Many f the New Wrld supermarkets in New Zealand are letting their fruits and vegetables g packaging-free. In an innvative prject pineered by the New Wrld supermarket lcated at Bishpdale in Christchurch, this change has led t an amazing increase in sales accrding t The New Zealand Herald. “We mnitr them year n year and after we intrduced the idea, we nticed sales f spring nins, fr example, had increased by 300 percent,” Bishpdale’s wner Nigel Bnd tld NZ Herald. “There may have been ther factrs at play, but we nticed similar increases in ther vegetables.” Bnd explained, “When we first set up the new shelving, ur custmers were blwn away.
