    本单元的写作任务是应用文类别中的“学生自我介绍”写作。在写作时需要注意的是,要对个人信息进行筛选,分好主要点和次要点,不能一味地把自己的所有信息都放在作文中。
    一、基本结构
    1.第一部分——学生的基本信息。
    2.第二部分——学习生活的趣事或难题。
    3.第三部分——朋友相处情况。(还可以写关于家庭方面的内容。)
    二、注意事项
    1.写作文体:自我介绍写作属于应用文。
    2.主体时态:文章通常以一般现在时为主,也可以根据需要适当使用其他时态。
    3.主体人称:第一人称。

    It was my first day at schl in Lndn and I was half-excited and half-frightened. On my way t schl I wndered, what questins the ther bys wuld ask me and practiced all the answers, “I am nine years ld. I was brn here but I haven't lived here since I was tw. I was living in Farley. It's abut thirty miles away. I came back t Lndn tw mnths ag.” I als wndered if it was the rule fr bys t fight strangers like me, but I was tall fr my age. I hped they wuld decide nt t risk it.

    My teacher was called Mr Jnes. There were 42 bys in the class, s I_didn't_stand_ut there, either, until the first lessn f the afternn. Mr Jnes was very fnd f Charles Dickens, s he asked several bys if they knew Dickens' birthplace, but n ne guessed right. A by called Brian, the biggest in the class, said, “Timbuktu”, and Mr Jnes went red in the face. Then he asked me. I said, “Prtsmuth”, and everyne stared at me because Mr Jnes said I was right. This didn't make me very ppular, f curse. “He thinks he's clever,” I heard Brian say.
    After that, we went ut t the playgrund t play ftball. I was in Brian's team, and he bviusly had Dickens in mind because he tld me t g in gal. N ne ever wanted t be the galkeeper.
    “He's big enugh and useless enugh,” Brian said when smene asked him why he had chsen me.

    Japanese high schl students either walk r ride bicycles if the distance is nt t far. In ther cases, students must take public buses and trains. After junir high schl, students attend high schls based n their high schl entrance examinatin scres. S sme students travel a lng distance t attend the schl.

    The schlday begins at 8:30. Then students assemble in their hmerm classrms fr the day's studies. Each hmerm class has an average f 40-45 students. Students stay in their hmerm classrms fr mst f the schlday. Only fr physical educatin, labratry classes, r ther subjects requiring special facilities (设备) d students mve t different parts f the schl. Between classes and at lunchtime, classrms can be nisy, lively places. Sme schls may have a cafeteria (自助餐厅), but mst d nt. In mst schls, students bring a bx lunch frm hme, prepared by the mther in the early mrning hurs.
    Japanese high schl students spend 240 days a year at schl, 60 days mre than American students. Students in high schls take three years' studying f each f the fllwing subjects: maths, scial studies, Japanese, science, and English. Other subjects include physical educatin, music, art, and mral studies. All the students in ne grade level study the same subjects. Given the number f required subjects, electives (选修课) are few.

    Club activities take place after schl every day. Students can jin nly ne club, and they rarely change clubs frm year t year, s the clubs are relatively stable. Clubs are made up f sprts clubs (baseball, sccer, jud, kend, etc.) and culture clubs (English, bradcasting, science, etc.).
