Petersn sells the 30-by-40-inch canvas — signed by bth subject and artist — fr a few thusand dllars. Faris used the prtrait funds t recrd an album, fulfilling his musical dreams.

Researchers then cntrlled the data fr families’ pverty levels, including financial circumstances and fd insecurity, t remve the effect they may have had n the numbers. After cntrlling fr these factrs, the strength f family cnnectins still impacted hw much children flurished.
S it is imprtant t create a space where children feel seen and heard. While they are talking, grwn-ups shuld shw that they have a genuine interest in what their children are saying and try t suspend judgment.
