Tday was Hli, the festival f clrs! The day kicked ff with Mm’s muth-watering gujiyas, thse sweet, deep-fried Indian dumplings. The smell itself was a jyful wake-up call.
At 8 a. m., I put n my ld clthes because I knew they wuld get all clrful. I said “Happy Hli” t everyne, and they applied(涂抹)bright clrs n my cheeks. I lked like a rainbw!
By 10 a. m., there had already been s many kids in the neighbrhd park. We had water guns and ballns filled with water and clred pwders(粉末). We ran arund and sprayed r threw the clred water at each ther. I gt ttally wet and clrful, and s did everyne else.
