Simnva fell in lve with sand art “abslutely accidentally”. Her husband, a theatre directr, advised her t give it a try. Over time, she has unstppably taken the web by strm. “I never thught it wuld turn ut t be what it is nw,” says Simnva.

The art Simnva creates is magical; hwever, the medium she uses is quite cmmn. “It is rdinary river sand. There was a time when I did use the vlcanic ne, but actually it makes n difference. What truly matters in a perfrmance is the stryline that is effectively cmmunicated in the theatre thrugh the medium f sand,” explains Simnva.
The images created by the artist live nly fr a few secnds.
