T: D yu knw what the schl was like many years ag? Is it different nw?
Lead students t guess and predict.

Ss: I think it changed…
T: Did the schl have cmputers then?
Ss: N, it didn’t.
T: S students culdn’t use the Internet then. And they culdn’t lk things up n the Internet.
Present the new wrds “Internet” and “lk up”. Learn the new wrds. Read them in syllables after the teacher. (课件出示:Internet与lk up的相关内容)

创设情境,引导学生关注学校的今昔对比,猜测学校过去的样子,引出并学习生词Internet和lk up。

T: Wu Binbin’s grandpa went t the same schl as Wu Binbin many years ag. Nw he is a guest visiting the schl.

2. Talk abut the differences in yur life.
T: Hw was yur life in the past? Hw is yur life nw? There are sme clues n the PPT. (出示课件) Wrk in grups and discuss. Yu can use these sentence patterns:

教材分析
本单元学习的主题是谈论事物和人物的今昔变化。教学内容主要是围绕吴斌斌和爷爷、爸爸参观学校校史展览馆的情景来展开的。教学重点是能听、说、读、写核心句型“There was/were (n/nt)…years ag. Nw there is/are…” “Befre, I/he/she/it was… Nw, I/he/she/it…”;能听、说、读、写单词和短语“dining hall, grass, gym, ag, cycling, g cycling, ice-skate, badmintn”。
