Step 1 Lead-in
Memry game.
T: Sme exchange students are visiting Sunshine Twn. Neil is ne f them. He tk sme phts during the visit. Nw I’ll shw them t yu nly nce. Can yu remember what’s in the phts? Are yu ready? Let’s g.
T: What are they ding in the phts? And where are they?
T: Well dne. Yu have a gd memry. The exchange students have visited sme places. But they are still thinking, “What place in Beijing can’t we miss?”
S: The Palace Museum.

Step 2 Befre-listening
1. Watch a vide.
Shw the picture f the Palace Museum and play a vide with pictures f palaces in it.

4. Listen and answer.
T: Listen t the intrductin and answer the furth questin.

Step 3 Listening
1. Read and cmplete.
T: There will be a treasure shw in the Palace Museum. Here is a pster f the shw. Read the pster and cmplete part f the table n Page 37.
2. Listen and cmplete.
T: Listen t the guide’s intrductin and find ut the things t see at the shw.
Tips: (1) Get different infrmatin each time. Fr example, find ut the things t see first and the time secnd.
(2) Pay attentin t key wrds.
(3) Write the first letter f the wrd if time is limited.
T: Listen t the intrductin again and find ut the time t cmplete the rest f the table.
3. Crrect the mistakes in Part A4.
