Once, Mr Green shuted s ludly at Tina that he made her cry. Tina and Katie stp telling jkes when Mr Green is nearby.
    Mr Green likes playing tennis very much. He plays tennis three times a week and takes part in many tennis matches, but he never wn any tennis titles. One day, Mr Green arrived at wrk as usual and smiles at Tina and Katie as he gave them tw big bxes f chclates each. The girls were shcked.     1、The twins saw three men in plice unifrms cming ut f the building with guns in their hands. 双胞胎看到三个穿警服的人手里拿着枪走出大楼。(1)see sb. ding sth. 意为“看见某人正在做某事”,表示看到的动作正在进行。 I saw a by running twards me at that mment. 那时我看见一个男孩向我跑来。【拓展】see sb. d sth.意为“看见某人做某事”,表示看到的动作已经完成或 者经常发生,强调动作的整个过程。 I ften hear her sing in the next rm. 我经常听到她在隔壁房间唱歌。
    (2)in plice unifrms 意为“穿着警服”。 in 用作介词,后跟服装或颜色,表示“穿着某种颜色的衣服”,在句中常作后置定语。 D yu knw the girl in a yellw dress? 你认识穿黄裙子的女孩吗?(3) with guns in their hands 意为“手里拿着枪”。此处with构成的介词短语,用作伴随状语。 The girl walked t the classrm with sme bks in her hand. 那个女孩手里拿着几本书走进教室。
    2. pushPush做动词,意为“推,挤”,其反义词是pull,意为“拉,拖”。He pushed the dr pen.他推开了门。固定搭配:Push ut使失势,替换 push thrugh使通过Push back推迟,延迟 push n继续前进Push away推开 push in插队Push ff离开 push ver推倒,刮倒The strng wind pushed ver the trees easily. 狂风轻易地刮倒了树。He pushed her away and run ut. 他推开她跑了出去。
    3. stp sb.(frm)ding sth.的用法(高频考点)stp sb.(frm)ding sth.意为“阻止某人做某事”,相当于prevent sb.(frm)ding sth 其中这两个短语中的介词frm均可省略。拓展:Keep sb frm ding sth.也意为“阻止某人做某事”,但该短语中的frm不可以省略。The heavy rain prevented us (frm)hlding the sprts meeting.=The heavy rain stpped us(frm)hlding the sprts meeting.=The heavy rain kept us frm hlding the sprts meeting.这场大雨阻止了我们开运动会。
    注意:(1)以上三个短语句子用于被动语态时,介词frm都不可省略。Amy was prevented by illness frm taking the English exam.埃米因病不能参加这次英语考试。(2)can’t/culdn’t stp ding sth.情不自禁做某事,相当于can’t/culdn’t help ding sth.(3)Stp t d sth停下来去做另外一件事 Stp ding sth.停止做某事
