1.      Read the conversation of page 4.
2.      Show a map,let students look and answer the questions:

Is there a bookstore near the library?

Is there a hospital in the city?Where is it?

Step 2 Presentation

1.     Look,Wu Binbin,Mike and Robin are talking on the road.What are they talking about?Please read together.Show a picture to help students to understand”turn left” and “turn right”
2.     Let’s learn some words and phrases:crossing:at the crossing.go straight.turn left.turn right
3.     Teach students read the new phrases
4.     Be a tour guide:Here is a map of Beijing.Chen Jie is trying to be a tour guide for Oliver in Beijing.Help her.(Give students three minutes to talk about the map.Then read the sentences in page 7.
