    Learning objectives:

    1. To identify the pronunciation of “t” and “d” in words by listening and imitating.

    2. To understand the meaning of the wh-question What can you hear...?

    3. To use the modelled sentences ‘What can you hear...? I can hear…’ to find out specific information by asking and answering.

    4. To make an introduction of what you hear in the city or countryside by sticking pictures and communicating.

    Difficulties: To describe what you can hear in the city or countryside correctly and logically.

    Aids: Multimedia, Students Book 2B p.10, p.11, picture and word cards, task paper, poster etc.
