【教学目标】 

1．帮助学生学习Look and learn 中几个关于动物的单词。

2．开展模仿拼读活动和各种游戏活动，帮助学生掌握单词。

学习Look and learn 中几个关于动物的单词。

【教学难点】 

词汇的掌握。

【教学过程】

Step1 Situation to introduce

1．Sing an English song

2．根据小动物图片如：dag, cat, rabbit，通过猜谜活动来复习这些单词。

It is black.

Its ears are small.

It likes fish.

What is it?

（cat）

It is yellow.

Its ears are small.

Its tail is long.

It likes meat and bone(骨头).

What is it?

（dog）

然后指着老虎，狮子，大象等野生动物图片，通过提问让学生了解这些动物与农场的不同，从而引出本单元的话题Animals in the zoo

Step2 Learning new knowledge

1) T: (show the card for bear) Look, what is it?

S:熊

T: Yes, this is a bear. Bear, B-E-A-R, bear

S: Bear, B-E-A-R, bear

T: I like bears. Do you like bears?

2) T:出示谜语

It is very, very big.

It is afraid of mice.

It has a long nose.

It is grey.

What is it?

（elephant）

T: Yes, this is an elephant. Elephant, E-L-E-P-H-A-N-T, elephant.

S: Elephant, E-L-E-P-H-A-N-T, elephant.

3)  T:(show the sound for lion)学生猜是哪一种动物？

S:  狮子

T: Yes, this is a lion. Lion, L-I-O-N, lion.

S:  Lion, L-I-O-N, lion.

T: I like lions. Do you like lions?

4) T:(show the card for Sun Wukong)根据图片能联想到那个动物？

S:猴子

T: Yes, this is a monkey. Monkey, M-O-N-K-E-Y, monkey

S: Monkey, M-O-N-K-E-Y, monkey

5) T: Introduce an animal, it wears a black glasses, it likes bamboo, what is it?

S:熊猫

T: Yes, this is a panda。Panda, P-A-N-D-A, panda．

6) T: Introduce an animal, it is the king of the forest. What is it?

S:老虎

T: Yes, this is a tiger. Tiger, T-I-G-E-R, tiger.

S: Tiger, T-I-G-E-R, tiger.

Step3 Communicative application

1．将黑板上所有单词图片打乱，邀请学生将图片准确的找到汉语，开展活动。

2．连线

3．看看猜猜：学生根据看到的动物局部特征，猜测并快速说出单词。

Step4 Extension

1．学生总结本节课所学内容

2．Homework

1) Spell and copy these words.

2) Make sentences
