Pre-task Activities Step 1:Greeting Step 2: Sing a song--- Apple tree |
While-task Activities Step 1 : Apple T: Oh. I’m hungry. I want to eat an apple. Look, this is an apple. A big apple. A red apple. (One by one: “apple”.) Ask them to pass the apple and repeat the chant. Apple, apple, I can see. Step 2: Orange Show an orange to the pupils and ask them: T: Is this an apple? (No.) What is it? (Orange.) (One by one: “orange”.) Chant: Orange, orange. Nice and sour. Play a game. Have the pupils wear the fruit masks and role-play as fruit. P1: Hello! I’m apple. P2: Hi! I’m orange. P1: Nice to see you. P2: Nice to see you, too. P1: Goodbye! P2: Goodbye! Step 3: Pear and peach Show the pear and peach to the pupils to introduce their names. T: Look, this is a pear. That is a peach. (One by one: “pear”.) Chant: Pear, pear, pear. It’s not peach. (One by one: “peach”.) Peach, peach, peach. Monkeys like peach. Play a game. Have the pupils wear the fruit masks and role-play as fruit. Making a short dialogues. P1: Hello! I’m pear. P2: Hi! I’m peach. P1: Nice to see you. P2: Nice to see you, too. P1: Goodbye!
