    教学目标

    Aims on the knowledge:

    1. Try to learn the new words:

    always, usually, often, sometimes, never, visit, play sport, go shopping

    1. Try to grasp new sentence patterns:

    What do you usually do with your grandparents?

    I always/usually/often/sometimes....

    3. Realize how to use the words: always, usually, often, sometimes,never,

    Aims on the language skill:

     

    The students can describe what they do with their grandparents

     

    with the drills:

     

    I always/usually/often/sometimes...with my grandparents.

     

    Aims on the emotional attitude:

     

    Often communicate with parents and care about grandparents.

     

    教学重点

    1. Learn the words: always, usually, often, sometimes, never, visit, play sport
    2. Try to ask and describe what they do with their grandparents with the drills:

    What do you usually do with your grandparents?

    I always/usually/often/sometimes....

    教学难点

    Realize how to use frequency adverb to describe daily life.

     

    教学设计

     

    Pre-task preparations

    1.Warming-up.

    In this part, I’ll ask the question: “Do you want to know my activities?” Then show the video about my day to the students. Students watch the videos. And it can be a good way to link to the new lesson.

    1. Show a table of my school life .

    Give the activity a different frequency.

    While-task procedures

    1. Teacher makes a summary based on the table above.

    Teach the key words: frequency adverb.

    2.Write the new words.

    3.Show the chant of “What do you do at school/after school? ” to the students,say the chant with students

    Read and practice the key words.

    4.Ask the question: What do you usually do everyday ? Let the students talk about in groups, then say the passage about themselves.

    Students talk about their activities with frequency adverbs.

    1. Show the questions: “Do you live with your grandparents? Do you usually visit your grandparents? What do you usually do with your grandparents? ”

    Learn the key words :visit,play sport, go shopping

    1. Listen to the video, then answer the question:What do AliceKitty and Peter usually do with their grandparents?

    Students talk about it.

    7.Students read the dialogue on Page24 together.

    8.Work in pairs. Talk about what they usually do with their grandparents.Then match and say.

    Post-task activities

    1. Show a letter from Peter to his grandparents to the students, present the dialogue in the form of text reconstruction.

    Students read the letter, know the meaning of “Double Ninth Festival”

    1. Students work in groups.

    Talk about withWhat do you usually do with your grandparents?

    3.Write and exchange.

    Write the passage about their own activities with their grandparents.

    1. Team show

    Introduce the activities with their grandparents by using the key sentences. 

    Sum up

    1. Sum up the key words and key sentences .

    2.The old people need our help and care :You are the apples of my eye.
