【教学过程】 

一、导入环节（2分钟）（一）导入新课，板书课题

导入语：Good morning, class. How are you? Today, we are going to learn：

Lesson 21Eat a Donut and Turn Right

（二）出示学习目标　过渡语:First ,let’s read the learning goals together.

1.我要掌握单词和短语：coffee,through,himself ----;be/get lost,turn right---

2.通过学习，我要掌握问路和指路的日常交际用语。

二、先学环节（15分钟）

学法指导：先独立思考合作探究当中的问题，然后注意结合例句，小组讨论本课语法知识点，不理解的提交班内解决。

探究一:Listening　 1.Listen to the tape and answer the questions.

探究二: Reading　　1.Read the text and finish part 2 in “Let’s Do it”.

2.Read the passage and answer the following questions.

(3)What did Danny do to help Brian find the movie theatre?

(4)What does he do when he finds he is lost?

探究三：Language Points 

1.direction　n.方向；方位；说明　　相关的短语：

directions for use用法说明　in all directions(＝in every direction)(向)四面八方　in the direction of 向……方向，在……方向　under the direction of sb.在某人的指导下。

2.as 作连词,引导时间状语从句时,表示“在……期间,当……的时候;一边……一边”。

【辨析】　when和as 引导时间状语从句的区别:when 可以和延续性动词连用,也可以和短暂性动词连用;as多和延续性动词连用。when 从句的谓语动词可以在主句谓语动作之前、之后或同时发生;as 从句的谓语动词必须是和主句谓语动作同时发生。

3.   【辨析】through,across　

through,across都指“从一边到另一边的动作”。区别是:across 表示动作是在某物体的表面进行的,意为“横过,跨过”;through 表示动作是在空间内进行的,从内部通过,意为“穿过”。

4.辨析can't be，may be和must be
