Step1 Greeting T: Class beings. Ss: Stand up. T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, Miss G. T: Good morning, boys. Boys: Good morning, Miss G. T: Good morning, girls. Girls: Good morning, Miss G. T: Sit down, please. Step 2 practice
Follow me or not. T say the word and do the actions. If match, ss follow. If not, don’t follow. Find ss who can make the right judgments.
S gives the order, and ss follow. S: Are you ready? Ss: Yes. S: One, two, three. … Ss: Do. S: Well done.
Read the rhyme. Try to change the lyrics.
Ask ss to find the letters they have learned last unit Show a little train with a-q on it, and the next r s t. Teach ss how to read and write.
1) Show single letter, then two together. Sq pd ts … 2) Show some words, and ss to find out the letter of r s t. Dance jump run…. 3) Show some letters in different colour, and try to say phrases like: A green r/ a pink t… 4)Show a picture with several letters on it, ss should count and make dialogue like: S1: How many red Qs? S2: One, two... three red Qs. Step 3 Practice A listen and colour Ask ss to bring the colour pens. Teach how to do quickly. B read and colour Read the sentences together Colour the pictures. C point and say Ask ss to bring some toys or pictures Make dialogues like that.
