Step1 Greeting

T: Class beings.

Ss: Stand up.

T: Sit down, please.

Step 2 practice

1.    Read story time
2.    Play a game:

Follow me or not.

T say the word and do the actions.

If match, ss follow.

If not, don’t follow.

Find ss who can make the right judgments.

3.    Give the order.

S gives the order, and ss follow.

S: Are you ready?

Ss: Yes.

S: One, two, three. …

Ss: Do.

S: Well done.

4.    Enjoy rhyme time

Read the rhyme.

Try to change the lyrics.

5.    Show the words: run, jump, hop, walk

Ask ss to find the letters they have learned last unit

Show a little train with a-q on it, and the next r s t.

Teach ss how to read and write.

6.    Practise the letters.

1)     Show single letter, then two together.
