5. 使学生乐于参与相关的英语实践活动。

重点:1. 总结现在进行时的疑问句用法。
2. 学会区分一般现在时和现在进行时。
3. 能够与同学交流,描述春节习俗活动。
难点:能够正确运用一般现在时或现在进行时来描述春节习俗活动。

五、教学过程
Step 1 Warming-up
1. Let’s chant.
Ss chant the sentences together.
设计意:活跃课堂气氛,调动学生的学习热情,同时复习了部分相关词汇。
Step 2 Presentation
1. T lets Ss read through the example sentences and summarize the grammar rules about present continuous in pairs.
2. T explains the grammar point.
(1) 一般疑问句结构:Am / Is / Are + 主语 + 现在分词 + 其他?
肯定回答:Yes, 主语 + am / is / are.
否定回答:No, 主语 + am / is /are + not.
(2) 特殊疑问句结构:特殊疑问词 + am / is / are + 主语 + 现在分词 + 其他?
回答:根据所提问内容回答。
(3) 现在进行时与一般现在时的区别
设计意图:充分调动学生学习的积极性和主动性,让学生自己观察、总结归纳语法规则,培养学生的学习能力。
Step 3 Practice
Activity 1
1. T lets Ss work in pairs, asking and answering questions as in the example.
2. T uses open pairs to elicit some examples.
Activity 2
1. T lets Ss look at the example and write out the full questions and short answers individually.
2. Ss check answers in pairs and then T calls back answers in open pairs.
设计意图:通过练习巩固现在进行时一般疑问句的用法。
Activity 3
1. T lets Ss look at one of the pictures in Activity 1 and elicits the question and answer from the whole class.
2. T lets Ss look at other pictures and write questions and answers individually.
3. T tells Ss to check their answers in pairs by asking and answering the questions they wrote.
4. T calls back answers in open pairs.
Activity 4
1. Ss read the passage and complete it with the correct form of the words and expression in brackets.
2. T lets Ss check their answers with a partner.
3. T checks the answers with the whole class.
设计意图:通过词语适当形式填空的任务,巩固学生对一般现在时和现在进行时的掌握。
Step 4 Production
Activity 5
1. Ss talk with a partner and make a list of the things they do to get ready, on the day and the next day of Spring Festival.
2. T lets Ss choose four things and write them down.
3. T asks Ss to report back to the class. Each S reads out two things.
Step 5 Consolidation
Ss do some exercises to consolidate.

1. 一般疑问句结构:Am / Is / Are + 主语 + 现在分词 + 其他?

2. 特殊疑问句结构:特殊疑问词 + am / is / are + 主语 + 现在分词 + 其他?
