教学目标
1.知识目标:
学生能听、读并拼写下列词汇 :
class,well
能认读、理解并运用下列问句 :
Where are you from?What subjects do you have in your school? How many classes do you have each school day?
2.能力目标:
(1)、通过问答练习,使孩子们能在句子中说单词,逐渐培养他们说整句话的能力, 真正做到词不离句。
(2)、让孩子们在合作中运用语言,提高他们的综合语言运用能力。
3.情感目标:
培养孩子们学英语、用英语的积极性和自信心。
鼓励他们大胆开口,不要惧怕出错,积极参与交流。
使学生产生浓厚的学习英语的兴趣。

3学情分析
经过三年的英语学习,六年级的学生已经有了一定的英语学习基础。大部分学生养成了良好的英语学习习惯,但是也有部分学生学习兴趣不是很高,成绩有了一定的分化。针对此情况,在课堂教学中应更多的关注这些学生,采取多种活泼,新颖的教学形式来激发他们的积极性和自信心。
4重点难点
1.教学重点:
掌握有关科目等的词汇:
class,well,each,music,science,math,Chinese,English,art, PE
和问句:Where are you from?What subjects do you have in your school? How many classes do you have each school day?及其答语。
2.教学难点:
学习并运用句子:Where are you from?What subjects do you have ---? How many classes do you have ---? 并作出相应的回答。

活动1【导入】Step1:Greeting:
Good morning,boys and girls. I'm very glad to see you. How are you,today? Today,we will
learn lesson8:Li Ming Meets Jenny’s Class.
First,let's watch a video.Let's sing the song and do the action.
(设计思路:通过问候,增进师生感情,提高学生的积极性。利用生动的动画视频,让学生一边唱歌曲,一边做动作,以此来做课前热身与复习导入,有效激趣。)
活动2【讲授】Step2:Introduce the important words:
Use the PowerPoint to learn: English, math, Chinese, science, art, music and PE .Then teach the structure “Where are you from? I’m from _____”
Listen to the tape.
(设计思路:利用图片,可很好的调动起学生们的兴趣,激发他们的学习热情。再配以录音,使他们有效记忆,轻松掌握所学的词与句。)
活动3【活动】Step3:Revision:
We’ve leaned the subjects. Now let’s play a guessing game. OK? (Show the part of the picture.):
T: Now, look at the picture. Guess!What class are they having?
Ss: Chinese. /They are having Chinese class.

Tell a row of students to ask and answer in turn based in “ Where are you from? ”“I’m from_____.”
For example:
Student 1: Where are you from, Li Ming?
Student 2: I’m from Shijiazhuang. (Student2 is from Shijiazhuang.)
Where are you from, Jenny?
Student 3:I’m from Xingtai.(Student3 is from Xingtai.) Where are you from, Danny?
Student 4: I’m from Handan.(Student 4 is from Handan.)

In this lesson ,Li Ming wants to go to school in Canada. He wants to learn English .Now Li Ming meets Jenny‘s class .Can you
guess what they are talking about? Please read the dialogue in groups. then find the keys to the questions.
(设计思路:引导学生抓住文中的重点句型并能找出问题的答案。培养学生对重点知识的提炼,帮助、指导学生学习,培养自学能力与合作互助精神。)
活动6【活动】Step6:Situational practice
Listen to the text, and read the dialogue in groups, then role play the dialogue.
(设计思路:让学生通过看,听,读,演 等多彩的活动形式调动学生的积极性,使学生在轻松愉快的氛围中记忆所学句子。)
