Born in the 14th century, Naxi ancient music is one of the world’s oldest music types. The Naxi ethnic group(纳西族)living in Yunnan created it with their own instruments. But today, few people can hear it or even know of it.
“One of my classmates is from the Naxi ethnic group,” Liu Yunong told Teens. “When she talked about this endangered music, I thought we should do something right at once!”
The 15-year-old from Tianjin No. 1 Middle School is a music lover and guzheng player. Together with other classmates, she set up a project to spread the popularity of Naxi music among young people.
“How to attract(吸引)young people in a fun way is the most difficult job,” said Liu. “So we came up with the idea of using comic strips(连环画)to introduce Naxi music.”
In the comics they created, the leading role is a girl named Su Xiaodu. Her name comes from sugudu, a musical instrument of Naxi culture. After a boy named Liu Nana visited a Naxi cultural museum, Su came into his life, and the story began.
“Many of our schoolmates loved this form of storytelling, and it successfully attracted 300 people to attend our online activity during the winter holiday, where we introduced some basics of Naxi music,” Liu said.
“We also planned to invite Xuan Ke, a well-known Naxi musician to give us a lecture(讲座). But it was a pity that Mr Xuan went to his rest at 93 in early January. His death made us all realize the importance of protecting traditional music,” Liu added.
After the online activity, some young people recorded videos of themselves playing Naxi music pieces, such as Shan Po Yang, on piano or guzheng. “When we received the videos, we felt everything was worth it,” said Liu.

Have you ever lost something in a hard-to-reach space, like behind a sofa or under the bed? Wouldn’t it be nice to just squeeze(挤)in and out to get it? New robots will soon make this happen.
In a study, scientists from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Carnegie Mellon University in the US have invented small robots that can quickly change into liquid(液体)states. They melted(熔化)into liquid and managed to get out of a locked cage(笼子)during the tests, shocking the whole scientific community.
According to the website Mashable, the scientists got the idea from sea cucumbers (海参), which can change the softness of their bodies and easily enter any place. The robots in the study were made from a soft metal, which has a low melting point of only 30C. The scientists firstly place the robot in a magnetic field (磁场). Thanks to the magnetic field, the robot can then be heated into a liquid form, allowing it to enter some hard-to-reach places. After that, by controlling the strength or direction of the magnetic field, the robot can be moved around in a controlled manner.
Hopefully, these liquid robots can be widely used in different fields and will not disappoint us. They can help take out a foreign object from a model human stomach. Scientists can use them to repair a TV set by squeezing them into hard-to-reach areas inside the TV set. To prevent humans from being harmed, these robots can perform dangerous tasks in hard-to-reach environments, such as cleaning in nuclear power plants(核能发电厂).
“What we’re showing are just ideas that need to be developed further.” said Carmel Majidi of Carnegie Mellon University. “The goal of our future research is to put these liquid robots to use in real---life situations more quickly. We are very confident(自信的)about achieving this goal.”

C.where small liquid robots are invented D.what liquid robots can do now and in the future
55.The passage is written in a/an _________ tone(语气).

①Do you often hear parents say that their children are so secretive and never tell them anything? But have parents realized that they have actually caused this themselves?
②Parents can become upset or even angry when their children praise their friends’ homes, thinking that it reflects dissatisfaction with their own home. Such childish behavior shocks their children, who then decide not to talk to them anymore.
③_________. However , as children grow up, disillusionment(幻灭)with parents is actually unavoidable, no matter how good they may be both as parents and as individuals(个人). As a result, children gradually feel disappointed and finally choose to remain silent.
④If parents are not prepared for children’s gradual disappointment and fail to realize it is a sign of their children’s growing up, they would be so hurt and the parent-child relationship may then become worse.
⑤To improve the parent-child relationship, parents should admit their mistakes. This is particularly important for children as they place great importance on honesty and admire parents who are truthful with them.
⑥In the past, it was widely believed that being an authoritarian(专制主义者)was the best way to keep parents’ dignity(尊严). However, this could cause children to dislike them and refuse to communicate with them. So, wise parents won’t be too strict and they will not always try to manage their children’s life and control their children’s thoughts and ideas.
⑦Nowadays, with the parent-child relation facing more challenges, parents should create good communication with their children by being truthful, respectful(尊敬的), and giving them a certain degree of independence of making their own choices and having their own thoughts. This will help build a healthy family relationship, where their children feel comfortable sharing their happy moments with them again.
56.Which of the following sentence can be put in the _________.

九、阅读回答问题
阅读下面短文,根据短文内容,完成下列各题。
Festivals are celebrated all around the world. Every festival has its different customs. However, no matter how different they may seem, all over the world, the spirit of sharing joy, thanks, love, or peace is common in all festivals.
Of all the traditional festivals, the harvest(丰收)festival can be found in almost every culture. People celebrate to show that they are thankful for the year’s food. In ancient Egypt, the harvest festival was celebrated during the springtime—the Egyptian harvest season. It had a parade(游行)and a great large meal with music, dancing, and sports. During the Mid-Autumn Festival in China, families gather to admire the shining moon and enjoy delicious moon cakes.
Customs play an important role in festivals, but sometimes they can change over time for different reasons. Let’s take Chinese Spring Festival for example. One custom is lighting fireworks(烟花)to drive away the bad spirits and celebrate the new year. But now more and more people have realized that lighting fireworks is harmful to the air and the waste left by fireworks always makes our neighborhood dirty. So many big cities have given up this custom.
What’s more, 30 years ago, people usually spent time together at home for several days, but now they have more ways to entertain(娱乐)themselves like watching movies, visiting fun parks. And now people found it convenient to travel among cities, so people now feel like travelling across the country even abroad during the festival.
More and more businesses are taking advantage of the celebrations of festivals. Online shopping websites and social media apps have made it much easier for the public to spend more on gifts for their loved ones. Some believe festivals shouldn’t be used for business purposes, while others think the increase in spending is good for the economy(经济).
Festivals are an important part of society. They allow us to relax and enjoy life, and forget about our work for a little while. They help us understand where we came from, who we are, and what to thank for.
65.Do different festivals have the common spirit of sharing joy, thanks, love, or peace?
66.How did Egyptian people celebrate their harvest festival?
67.Why do customs of Chinese Spring Festival change over time according to the passage?
68.Do you think the celebrations of festivals should be used for business purposes? Why or why not?

【原文】It’s great to have many friends, and I can’t imagine my life without my friends. My name’s Molly. My best friend is Lisa. When I first met her, I was five. She is one year older than me. Now we are in the same class of the 8th grade. She is tall and quite thin. She has long curly blond hair and blue eyes. But I am not so beautiful as she is. I am tall enough but a little fat. Lisa and I like doing lots of things together and talking about different things. She always helps me with my math and I sometimes help her with her English and history. I had to make a report on science once, but I didn't understand what the teacher said. The next day, I read it in front of the class. But the teacher told me that my report was wrong and all my classmates laughed at me. I felt very bad about myself. Lisa was the only one who didn’t laugh at me. She tried to be nicer than anybody else and made me happy. I am a shy person and sometimes I feel that people don’t understand me. Lisa is popular and everybody loves her. She is also smart and she can solve everything. I am happy to have a friend like her.

故选A。
22.B
【详解】句意:那个可爱的女孩手里拿着两个气球。一个是粉红色的,另一个是蓝色的。
考查代词辨析。others另外的人或物;the other另一个;another又一个,再一个;the rest剩余部分。根据“One is pink, and…is blue.”可知,此处强调一个气球是粉色的,另外一个是蓝色的,因此此处用“the other”。故选B。
23.C
【详解】句意:当他的同学在隔壁房间休息的时候,他还在做这道题。

24.D

25.B
