【教学目标】
1.知识与能力目标
知识目标:
能够听说的单词和短语:difficult, choose, screen
能够听说认读的单词和短语: perfect, powerful, computer game,能够听说读写的单词和短语: beautiful, expensive, cheap, purple.
能听说读的句子:
This one is perfect. It’s small and powerful.
能听说读写的句子:
This computer is beautiful. It’s purple. It’s small.
And it’s cheap.
能力目标:
通过多种活动,培养学生综合语言运用能力和观察判断能力。通过学习语言知识,培养学生对于知识的迁移能力和发散思维的能力。
2.情感态度目标
培养学生的审美能力以及勤俭节约的优良品质。
【教学重难点】
本单元重点学习的是用形容词来形容物品。主要句型是:This …is…. 以及It’s…. 让学生学会用形容词描述事物.本单元的难点是如何让学生准确地用形容词来形容物品。
【教学准备】
电脑多媒体,录音机,单词卡片以及各种与教学内容相关的实物。
【教学过程】
Step 1 Warm up and review.
T leads the Ss to review the adjectives by the game “I say, you say the opposite and do it”
E.g.: T: Long (伸展双手,做出long的样子)
S: short (伸展双手,做出short的样子)
(Long-short old-new big-small tall-short)
在学生对形容词有了直观的感知和回顾之后引领学生复习颜色,对下面的学习做好铺垫。
T: What color is it? (Point to the desk)
Ss: It’s yellow
T: Yes, it’s black. This desk is yellow.
(渗透This ……is ……句型,为新授做好准备)
T: Now let’s find out the colors in the classroom.
Ss: Black. (Point to the board)
T: Yes,(引领学生一起说)This board is black.
(板书This ……is ……,强调this 大写)
Ss: Red. (Point to the flower)
T: Yes,(引领学生一起说)This flower is red
Ss:……
Step 2 lead in and presentation
联系上一环节,T拿出一本书来,问“What color is it?”
Ss: Green. (Point to the book)
T: Yes. This book is green. I bought it yesterday. It’s 1 yuan. So it’s very cheap. (板书cheap, 并渗透语音和拼写)
This book is only 1yuan. So this book is cheap.
然后教师出示投影仪上的图片(紫色的长铅笔,标价0.2元)
T: Is it cheap?
Ss: Yes, this pencil is cheap.
教师引导学生说出铅笔的其他特征
S1: This pencil is new.
S2: This pencil is long.
S3: This pencil is … .
(T 教授新词purple用Perfect进行评价,然学生感知perfect的含义)
T: What about this one?
出示另一张图片,上面有一黑白相间形状小巧的MP4,但无标价.
S1: This MP4 is black.
S2: This MP4 is …..
S3: This MP4 is … .
教师出示标价,1200元
T: It’s 1200 yuan. Is it cheap?
Ss: No, it isn’t.
T: It isn’t cheap. It’s expensive. (把expensive板书,领读,操练)
教师出示两张电视的图片。(green and blue)
T: Guess, which one is cheap? Which one is expensive?
让认为绿色电视便宜的同学起立。
Ss: (point to the green TV) This TV is cheap, (point to the blue TV) and this TV is expensive.
让认为蓝色电视便宜的同学起立。
Ss: (point to the blue TV) This TV is cheap, (point to the green TV) and this TV is expensive.
Step 3
T: Look ,I have a cell phone (出示实物).
Who can tell me what it looks like?
Ss: This phone is small.
This phone is new.
T: Yes, This phone is small, and it’s new.
(板书,操练)
T: It also can be used as music player, camera, radio, counter, etc. (展示给学生看,帮助他们理解)
It can do so many things, so it’s powerful.。l (板书powerful并领读操练)
Do you think it’s beautiful?
Ss: Yes, it’s beautiful(板书beautiful并领读操练)
Step 4
出示两台电脑,形状颜色不同,价钱分别为1200元和8999元。电脑旁标明了电脑的属性(powerful, good for computer games, etc)
学生小组竞赛,说明你喜欢的是哪一台电脑,并说明理由,看那个小组学生描述这两幅图片描述的句子最多。
句型参照黑板I like this one ,This …is … .It’s … .
Step 5
T: Sam 一家也去买电脑, 他们会选什么样的电脑呢?
带着问题听录音,找出答案。
Qs: Which computer will they choose?
A: purple and beautiful
B: expensive but good for computer games.
C: small and powerful
打开书,听并跟读,注意模仿。
Step 6
教师拿出一个玩具,
用This …is…It’s … .进行描述。
让学生拿出自己的东西四人小组进行描述。
Step 7
小结与作业
由学生对本课所学内容进行梳理和汇总,让他们自主地在小结时思考和整理本课的所学与所得。
Homework:
1. Listen and repeat the dialogue 2 times.
2. Describe something around you. (5 sentences)
