1. Get students look at the pictures and find the differences of the dialogue.
2.  Help students to find the long sentence is polite and the short sentence is direct and impolite.

While reading

1. Get students to read the passage quickly and find underline the topic sentences of each passage.
2. Check the answers and list the purpose of each paragraph.
3. Get students to read the first paragraph together and answer the question.
4. Check the answer and explain the meaning of the sentences.
5. Read the second paragraph after the tapes and find the answer of the question.
6. Answer the question and help students to find the two points of the speaking situations.
7. Read the third paragraph and find the question of the answer on the blackboard.
8. Ask students to find the polite question’s features:polite and need to spend time leading into a request.

课堂小结

本节课阅读内容比较简单，生词量小且不影响阅读，学生阅读负担不重。但受文章结构和基本内容的影响，学生理解段落大意和写作意图存在一定困难，在对文章的题材上认识不够。在教学设计上运用了大量的问题，通过问题导向解决阅读理解上的问题。

1. Advantages（亮点）：运用了较为恰当的对比和较为有针对性的问题，对学生的阅读进行了有目的的引导，减轻了学习和阅读的困难。

2.Disadvantages（不足）：阅读材料内容稍显单一，且为本单元一直谈论的话题，没有什么新意。学生学起来比较枯燥没有兴趣。

3.Teaching Advice（教学建议）：希望在备课的时候能多准备写生动的视频或实际场景反映真实的沟通情况，帮助学生理解本单元句式在实际生活中的重要性。
