W:And Mark,when did you first take in a big international tennis match?
M:It was in 2002,and I was 21 years old at that time.
W:How long have you played tennis?
M:It’s really a long time.I have played tennis for ten years.I began to play tennis when I was 15 years old.At that time,I was a team leader in our high school.And from that time,I really began to love tennis.
W:Is tennis the only sport in your life?
M:No,not at all.I also love other sports.I love swimming,because I think it’s a great exercise.I like basketball,too.I sometimes play basketball on a local team,but I love tennis most.
W:Are there any other tennis players in your family?
M:No,not really.My mother Helen loves climbing and she often goes climbing on weekends.And then there’s Anna,my little sister.She’s 13 and she’s really good at running.

故事梗概:Johnson不小心把随身携带的日记弄丢了,找回时发现日记上竟有陌生人的留言。

Johnson is not a confident boy.He doesn’t have a lot of courage to talk to people and widen his friends circle.But he has a habit of bringing a diary wherever he goes so that he can keep a record of his private memories.He describes pieces of dreams and personal feelings of anger and hatred,as well as things he enjoys such as magic shops.
One day,a terrible thing happened.After dinner one night he realised he had left his diary in the cloakroom outside the campus dining hall.Frightened that somebody might read it and find out the truth about him,he ran back immediately,but it was gone.Weeks passed,and eventually he gave up hope of ever finding it again.A month later,he was hanging up his jacket in the same place when he saw his brown worn diary,just where he’d left it.
Nervously he read through the pages and found that a stranger had written the following,“I’m a lot like you,only I don’t keep a diary,and I’m thankful to know there are others like me.I hope things turn out well for you.”Tears came to Johnson’s eyes.He had never thought that any one could know his inner feelings and also feel things just like the way he did.From this experience,he gradually learns to accept himself as he is.
