Unit 12 It's Christmas again!【第三课时】【教学目标】(一)语言目标:1.词汇:能听懂、会说、会读、会写新单词和短语:Christmas, colourful, decorate, decoration, dress up, greet, huge, merry, put up, receive, Santa Claus, stocking.2.能运用B部分单词及五年级所学有关Spring Festival的词汇进行填空及回答问题.(二)应用目标:1.能完成E部分表格并回答问题.2.能演唱歌曲We Wish You a Merry Christmas.3.能利用本单元的单词和重点句型创设情境进行简单会话.【教学重难点】重点:能运用本单元所学句型相互致以节日的问候并互赠礼物;了解圣诞节和春节的习俗.难点:用所学知识举办一场圣诞晚会,让学生大胆说英语.【教学准备】用于新授单词的图片、圣诞树、圣诞帽、圣诞袜、礼物、单词卡片、课本图片、教学VCD等(有条件的学校可利用幻灯片、多媒体课件).【教学过程】I. 热身/复习(Warm-up/ Revision)1.Greetings2.Game: Quick response教师快速出示B部分单词卡片或图片,学生快速说出单词.3.Game: Happy passing快乐传真.请两小组同学比赛,快速并小声传递教师说的句型,速度最快且发音最准的为胜.可采用E部分将要用到的一些句型,如:Christmas Day falls on 25th December. The Spring Festival is on the first day of the first lunar month. II. 新课呈现(Presentation)1.Part E: Let's write(1)Free talk 口头复习有关春节和圣诞节的习俗.(2)学生看书,与同桌一起完成填表练习,提醒学生注意词组及固定搭配.(3)请学生朗读答案,尽量使用完整的句子.(4)Answer the questionsa.When is Christmas Day?b.What do people like to do on Christmas Day?c.What do people often do during the Spring Festival?2.Part F: Let's have fun(1)听录音,欣赏歌曲.(2)教师帮助学生理解歌词.(3)听录音,学生看书,跟唱,模仿.(4)教师配以动作,手势等一起唱,激发学生的兴趣和热情.(5)齐唱.III. 趣味操练(Practice)1.Guessing game教师口头给出提示语,学生仔细听并猜测是什么节日.(1)We eat mooncakes on this day.
