Unit 12 It's Christmas again!【第一课时】【教学目标】（一）语言目标:1．词汇:能听懂、会说、会读、会写新单词和短语Christmas, colourful, decorate, dress up, light, merry, receive, Santa Claus.2．句型:能听懂、会说、会读、会运用“Here's a … for you.”.（二）应用目标:1．能听懂、会读A部分课文.2．培养和提高学生的阅读理解能力、猜词能力.3．了解西方传统节日——圣诞节,渗透中西方节日文化的教育,培养学生跨文化交际的意识,激发学生的学习兴趣.【教学重难点】重点:能听懂、会说、会读、会写新单词和短语Christmas, colourful , decorate, dress up, light, merry, receive, Santa Claus; 通过阅读,学生能在课文中找到有关圣诞节习俗的信息.难点:长句的朗读要根据意群进行适当的停顿.如:Anne and her mother/ decorate their Christmas tree/ with colourful balls and lights.【教学准备】用于新授单词的图片、圣诞树、圣诞帽、圣诞袜、礼物、单词卡片、课本图片、教学VCD等（有条件的学校可利用幻灯片、多媒体课件）.【教学过程】I. 热身/复习（Warm-up/ Revision）1．Greetings2．Quick response教师用课件快速闪现单词及图片,复习与节日相关的词汇,学生决速抢答:firecrackers, red packet, lion dance, a family reunion dinner, eve of the Spring Festival, Children's Day, Mother's Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, mooncake, nuts, lotus seed, red bean, gift, rose, a box of chocolates.Guess, guess, guess: What festival is it? 教师用课件出示与春节、中秋节等节日相关的图片或音乐,请学生猜一猜是什么节日.II. 新课呈现（Presentation）1．New words and new sentences（1）词汇、句型导入a．教学新单词:Santa Claus, greetT: （播放音乐 We Wish You a Merry Christmas） What festival is it in this song?T: Hello, boys and girls!
