【第一课时】
【教学目标】
I. 语言目标:
1.词汇:能听懂、会说、认读、会写Mother's Day card, restaurant, gift, rose, a box of chocolates.
2.句型:I'll make a beautiful card.Happy Mother's Day!
II. 应用目标:
1.能听懂、会说A部分的对话.
2.能结合母亲节的话题和他人简单谈论将来的活动或计划.
【教学重难点】
1.重点:能听懂、会说、认读B部分的词汇;能听懂、会说部分的对话;能和他人简单谈论母亲节.
2.难点:学生在本单元首次接触到一般将来时的语法现象,如“I will...”,教师要多创设将来的情境,给学生多输入一般将来时的句子,让学生在充分的感知中初步理解这一语法现象.
【教学准备】
关于母亲节的图片,单词卡片、教学图片、教学音频等(有条件的学校可利用幻灯片、多媒体课件).
【教学过程】
I. 热身/复习 (Warm-up/ Revision)
1.Greetings.
2.Listen to a song: The Mum Song.
3.Free talk.
T: What is this song about?
S1: It's about Mum.
T: Do you love your mother? What does your mother look like?
S1: My mother is tall. She has big eyes and a nice nose. She has long hair. She likes swimming. She can sing. I love my mother very much.
II. 新课呈现 (Presentation)
1.Look and say.
教师通过课件呈现多幅展现动物母爱的图片.
T: All the animals have got the mothers. We do have our mothers.
Do you love your mother? Why?
S1: Yes, I do. I love my mother because she loves me.
S2: I love my mother because she cooks nice food for me.
S3: I love my mother because she often helps me.
...
T: Our mothers are so beautiful, clever and kind. We love our mothers. Do you know there's a festival for our mothers? (课件呈现关于母亲节的贺卡,板书“ Mother's Day card ” ,然后带读——分组读——齐读).
T: It's Mother's Day. Here I have two questions for you about Mother's Day.
Q1: When is Mother's Day? (Mother's Day is on the 2nd Sunday of May.)
Q2: What can we do on Mother's Day?
(课件分别呈现礼物、玫瑰、一盒巧克力的图片,学习gift, rose, a box of chocolates并板书,然后带读——分组读——齐读)
2.Let's chant
A card, a letter, for my mum. Chocolates, red roses for her, too. Mother, mother, mother, I love you. Mother, mother, mother, happy Mother's Day! |
III. 对话学习 (Learn the dialogue)
课文学习:教师可分步骤循序渐进地引导学生熟悉课文.
第一步:Listen and fill in the form.
T: Mother's Day is coming. The children will do something for their mothers. Listen to the tape, and try to fill in the following form.
What will you do for your mother? | |

第二步:教师根据表格引导学生回答问题: “What will...do for her/his mother?” 教师及时带全班同学复述正确答案.
第三步:Listen and repeat.
听录音,跟读对话,提醒学生注意模仿语调,读出疑问的语气.
第四步:Read and act.
出示课文插图,引导学生表演.根据学生的水平,可先练习一幅图或多幅图,引导学生记忆对话和表演.
IV. 趣味任务 (Task)
1.Group work:“母亲节快乐”角色扮演.
教师呈现母亲节的情境,学生分组扮演父亲和孩子们,表演家庭成员正在商量为了感谢母亲对家庭的贡献,他们各自将做些什么.(教师可以通过课件或板书给学生提供一些关键词或短语.)
2.Give a report小组汇报.
Teaching Tips (1)教师先作示范练习,然后学生进行小组练习,最后教师可选出几组学生上台表演. (2)评价可由学生与教师共同参与,可评选出最佳表演奖、最佳创意奖等. |
【作业布置】
1.读写B部分的生词.
2.听音频或视频,读对话,并试着表演对话.
