Let’s learn & Be a tour guide
教学目标：
1.能听、说、读、写单词和词组“crossing”“turn left”“turn right”“go straight”。能听、说、认读单词“Italian”“restaurant”。
2.能听、说、读、写句子“Where is the Italian restaurant?”“Turn right here?”“No, turn left.”。
3.能灵活运用英语询问所要知道的地方，并会发出指令来引导方向。
教学重点：
能听、说、读、写单词和词组“crossing”“turn left”“go straight”。
能灵活运用英语询问所要知道的地方，并能回答发出指令指引方向。
教学难点：
完成“Be a tour guide”部分的练习任务，能灵活运用“Where is…”“Turn right/left”/“Go straight.”询问和回答怎样到达目的地。
教学准备：
单词卡片、教学光盘、教学课件
教学过程：
Step 1:Warm-up
1. Sing the song:“Where is the hospital?”，进入本单元英语学习氛围。
2.出示第一课时所学单词的单词卡片，学生开火车学习单词，或者教师抽出其中一张单词卡片，让学生快速反映出“What's missing”。
3.教师用多媒体展现建筑“hospital, science museum, post office, bookstore cinema”的具体位置，同桌之间互相用句式：“Where is…”“It's…”问答。
Step 2: Presentation
1.情景设置，教授新单词，“restaurant”这个单词较长，教师要做出正确指导。
2.利用课件，展示出Wu Yifan，Zhang Peng and Mike所在的位置，并展示出Italian restaurant 的位置，让学生自己画出他们去restaurant的路线。
3.根据学生们自己所画的路线图，教师询问学生并展开课件内容。
4.利用多媒体展示“crossing”“turn left”“turn right”“go straight”,并拿出单词卡片，教师教读。
5. Do as I say。教师在黑板上画线路，每组选定一个代表，快速用英语说出教师所画的线路，如“教师画”，学生快速答出“turn right”，比一比哪个小组最优秀。
6.听录音，学生跟读，模仿正确的语音语调，并能复述对话内容。
Step 3: Consolidation and extension
1.完成“Be a tour guide”部分的练习任务。Chen Jie is trying to be a tour guide for Oliver in Beijing.根据图片，利用所学指令，用英语表达出线路。
2.展示“post office, hospital, science museum, bookstore, cinema”的不同位置图。两人一组，选定三个起点和三个终点组成三段对话，利用所学句型和词组相互问答。
eg: 假设起点在hospital的左边，终点：bookstore。
Ss: We are on the left of the hospital. How can we get to the bookstore？
Ss: Turn right at the first crossing, then turn left at the second crossing and go straight.
3.课堂小练习：翻译。

Step 4: Homework
1.将所学单词抄写在四线三格里。
2.听录音，模仿“Let's learn”部分的语音语调。

教学反思：
本课时主要学习“怎样描述到达目的地的线路”，即如果在A地，要能简单描述到达B地的线路。要培养学生良好的方向感，会区分左右，用英语流利地表达出来，不混淆。值得注意的是，“go straight”中的“straight”“gh”不发音。教师要提出来。
