【第一课时】

【教学目标】

1．能听懂、会读一些简单的描述性形容词;strong, beautiful, funny, big, small.

2．能掌握句型Look at …

3．能运用本课句型口头描述事物（如动物）的特征.

【教学重难点】

重点:用形容词描述动物.

难点:理解区分this和that.注意:it's a monkey和it's funny的a的区别.

【教学准备】

单词图片、动物图片、教学挂图、教学磁带等.

【教学过程】

I. Warming up

1．师生问候.

2．利用动物头饰让学生感知表示动物的单词,用表情、体态等表现动物的特征.

T（用大象的图片遮住脸）: I'm Miss Elephant. I'm big. Hello, boys and girls.

Ss: Hello, Miss Elephant.

T（换下大象图片,用猴子的图片遮住脸）:I'm Miss Monkey. （边说边乱翻东西） I'm naughty. Hello, boys and girls.

Ss: Hello, Miss Monkey.

T（换上老虎图片）:Who am I now?

Ss: You're a tiger.

T: Yes. I' m a tiger. I'm strong. Hello, boys and girl.

Ss: Hello, Miss Tiger.

T: How are you?

Ss: Fine, thank you. And you?

T: I'm fine, too.

II. Presentation and drill

1．出示小鸟的图片.让一名学生照刚才教师的做法,扮作“小鸟”,向大家问好.

T: Here is another picture. Who can come here and say “Hello” to us?

走到学生中间,指着台上的“小鸟”.

T: Look at that bird. It's beautiful. Yes or no?

Ss: Yes.

通过语气和动作让学生理解单词“beautiful”的含义.

T: S1, please say “Hello” to us.

2．出示A部分挂图.

T: Where are they?

Ss: They are at the zoo.

T: Let's go to the zoo and see the animals, OK?

Ss: OK.

T （不让学生靠近图片）:Keep a bit far away from the animals. It' s dangerous .Look at that elephant.（做手势）Is it big?

Ss: Yes.

T : and its legs are …

Ss: Big.

T: Yes, the legs and big, too.

帮助学生回答.然后板书句型,带读.让学生们集体、分组、单个练读.

1．用类似的方法教单词funny, strong.

III. Practice

游戏——Quick response（快速反应）

2．教师出示动物图片,学生快速读出单词.同时让一名学生站在台前表演动作,教师进行

描述,帮助学生们不断熟悉句型“Look at that… Ii's …”.

1．听课文A部分录音,跟读.

2．让学生充当“小学生”带读.

3．分组练习.

4．分角色表演.

IV. Consolidation

1．创设情景,自由会话.

情景:星期天,几个好朋友相约去动物园游玩.大家兴趣盎然地讨论着.（可分组进行）

S1: Look at that elephant .It's big.

S2: Look at that monkey. It's funny.

S3: Look at that tiger. It's strong. It's yellow and brown .Look at its nose. It's big.

S4: Look at that bird .It's small.

S5: Look at that mouse. It's small, too.

【作业布置】

1．A、B、C部分在组长读过关、抽查.一个人不过关,整组留下来一起陪他过关.

2．B部分词组,抄4遍 + look at … 看着…
