【教学目标】
(一)语言目标:
1.语音:了解字母Ii在闭音节单词中的读音.
2.词汇:巩固B部分的单词,学会写fifteen, twenty;理解when, where, why, what, how, think 的意思.
3.句型:初步运用“How many ... are there?”,“There are...”,询问并告知所谈论物品的数量.
(二)应用目标:
1.能利用自然拼音法记忆本单元关于数量的单词.
2.能初步运用本单元的重点句型创设情景询问并告知所谈论物品的数量.
【教学重难点】
重点:能综合运用本单元的重点句型创设情景询问并告知所谈论物品的数量.
难点:F和G部分的新词汇比较多:win, swim, sink, fin, shoe, door, stick, gate,不过这些单词都只要求学生初步感知,能听说.
【教学准备】
单词卡片、图片、文具、教学音频等.(有条件的学校可利用幻灯片、多媒体课件)
【教学过程】
I. 热身/复习(Warm-up / Revision)
1.Greetings.
2.Revision:师生问答,利用图片、卡片复习数字以及句型“How many ... are there?”“There are...”
II. 学中学(Let's learn to learn)
1.Free talk.(导入 how, what 等疑问词)
T: How are you?
T: What's your name?
T: How old are you? What is this? What is it? What's he? What's she? What time is it?
2.T(出示图片1):How many cubes are there? Please count and think.
3.逐一出示其他三张图片,数一数、想一想、说一说.
III. 歌摇演练(Let's chant)
1.教师出示单词卡片fifteen和twenty,带读,教学生运用自然拼音法记忆单词.
2.教师板书,示范书写.然后让学生按照课本上的范例(四线三格)书写单词,并个别检查和辅导.
T(在黑板上画一条鱼):What's this?
Ss: It's a fish.(教师带读 fish)
T(将鱼涂成粉红色):What color is it?
Ss: It's pink.
T: Yes. It's a pink fish. Look, it can swim.(手指上套上一条小鱼的指偶,做游泳的动作带读swim)
T(问学生):Who can swim? (和一名会游泳的同学比赛游泳)
T: The pink fish wins.(带读 win)
听磁带引导学生回答问题“Who swims?”“Who wins?”.
学生看黑板上的图片,跟着录音说唱chant(可先全班齐读,再分组竞赛).
IV. 趣味活动(Let's have fun)
1.Listen and draw.(课文G部分提供了一些图片,学生看图在教师的指示下画画.)
(1)Draw a shoe.
(2)Draw a door.
(3)Draw a stick.
(4)Draw a gate.
(5)Draw a hen.
2.听录音跟唱.
3.边做动作边说唱.
V. 主题任务(Task)

给学生一分钟的时间记忆上表,然后进行问答操练“How many… are there?”.此处设计意图是将新学的单词融入本单元的句型中,这样既巩固了单词,又复习了句型.
2.Find and count.
将全班分成六小组,每组分发一张动物的图片,如lions, monkeys等.以小组为单位,找一找、数一数:“How many lions / monkeys/... are there?”有条件的学校也可以利用多媒体课件.
3.Pair work.
两人一组进行操练.上节课家庭作业要求每个学生统计自己家人的衣服.根据这些统计表,以小组为单位谈论家人各类衣服的总和.
