Step 1 Warm-up & Free talk

歌曲热身，借用歌曲激发学生兴趣，帮助学生复习与职业相关的词汇，为后面的学习做好铺垫。

2. Free talk.

1. 课件呈现与职业相关的图片，学生说出与图片对应的词汇。

T: What does he/she do?

Ss: Doctor, nurse, driver, teacher, farmer, cook, dancer, singer...

2. 教师提问，学生回答问题，导入单元主题。

T: Different people have different jobs. What does your father do?

  What does your mother do? What do you want to be?

通过回答问题，检测学生是否能听懂和Let’s learn板块的对话。

通过猜一猜的游戏，让学生在情境中运用所学重点词汇和句型，激发学生的英语学习动力。

2. 教师播放单词音频，学生跟读。

       Practice

1. Fast reaction.

  课件呈现单词“factory worker, postman, businessman和police officer”，学生看到单词后，快速地说出对应的单词。比一比谁读的快。

2. Practice.

1. 教师把学生分为两组，用句型“—What does he/she do? —He/She is a ...”进行问答。
2. 两名学生为一组，用句型“—What does he/she do? —He/She is a ...”进行问答。

3. Let’s guess.

课件呈现一张被遮盖的图片，学生猜一猜是什么职业。

学生猜错，教师回答“No, he/she isn’t.”，学生继续猜。

学生猜对，教师回答“Yes, he/she is.”，然后揭晓答案。

S1: Is she a singer?    T: No, she isn’t.

S2: Is she a nurse?    T: No, she isn’t.

4. Role play.

让学生运用所学语言询问他人的职业并做简单的汇报，培养学生语言综合运用能力。

  课件呈现P49 Listen, match and say板块的图片，教师播放录音，学生完成连线题。

2. Look and say.

  学生根据Listen, match and say板块的内容，用句型“—What does ...’s

father/mother? —He/She is a ...”进行问答。

S3: What does Ge Nan’s father do?    S4: He’s a police officer.

3. Do a survey.

  学生用本课所学句型询问好朋友父母的职业，然后记录在表格上。
