Part B Let's try & Let's talk

教学目标	知识目标：能听懂Let’s try部分的内容并完成相应的练习；熟练掌握句型“—Where does your father/mother work? —He/She works in/at/on...”“—How does he/she go to work? —He/She goes to work...”并能在情景中运用。 2.能力目标：培养学生的听力能力和口头表达能力。 3.情感目标：教育学生要努力学习、保持健康的生活方式。
教学重点	能够在情景中运用所学句型询问他人工作地点和上班的方式。
教学难点	能灵活运用所学的句型与他人交流职业、工作地点及出行方式。
教学准备	课件、录音和相关视频。

教学过程		批注
Step 1 Revision & Warm-up		通过PPT出示上一课时学过的词汇和句型，帮助学生唤醒旧知，激发学生的学习兴趣，为后面的学习做好铺垫。
 Revision 课件呈现上节课所学的职业名词和工作地点的名词，帮助学生复习重点词汇和句型。 T: What does he/she do? Ss:He/She is a ... (fisherman, pilot, scientist, coach ) T: Where does he/she work? Ss:He/She works in/on/at ... (university, sea, plane, gym)  Warm-up 教师播放Main scene的视频，为后面的学习做铺垫。 T: What does Amy’s father do? S1: He’s a pilot. T: Where does he work? S2: He works near the sea.
Step 2 Presentation&Practice		呈现Let’s try板块的语言情境，先让学生预测对话内容，然后听录音并完成练习，培养学生良好的听前预测习惯。呈现Let’s talk板块的图片，引导学生观察图片，预测即将学习的对话内容，培养学生的逻辑思维能力。观看视频后完成练习，检验学生对对话细节的理解。
B. Let’s try 课件呈现Let’s try板块的背景，导入新课。 T: Mike and Xiao Yu are going home now. Mike sees a man coming towards them. Who is he? 学生浏览题干，提前预测Let’s try听力重点内容。老师播放录音，学生完成Let’s try的两道选择题。 Q1: What does Xiao Yu’s uncle look like? S1: A. (Big and tall.) Q2: Does Xiao Yu’s uncle often take him to school? S2: A. (Yes, he does.) 教师再次播放录音，学生跟读听力原文。然后教师引导学生在听力原文中找出关键信息“big”,“tall”和“He often takes me to school on his way to work.”。课件呈现一张思维导图，教师引导学生根据思维导图介绍Mike叔叔的职业、工作地点及出行方式。 B. Let’s talk 通过介绍Xiao Yu叔叔的个人信息，引出新的话题。 T: Xiao Yu 's uncle is a police officer. He works in a police office. He goes to work by car. What about Mike's uncle? Watch and answer. 学生浏览题干，提前预测视频重点。播放视频，学生回答问题。 Q1: What does Mike’s uncle do? S1: He is a fisherman. Q2: Where does Mike’s uncle work? S2: He works at sea. Q3: How does Mike’s uncle go to work? S3: He goes to work by bike. Listen and repeat. 播放录音，学生跟读对话。教师引导学生理解词汇“sea, work hard, study hard, stay healthy”。 Read and answer. 学生读课文后，回答问题。 T: What else do you know about Mike’s uncle? S1: He works hard and stays healthy. T: What should we do? S2: We should study hard and stay healthy. Role play. 教师请学生代表上台表演对话。
Step 3 Consolidation&Extension		创设真实情境，巩固本课时的核心句型，提高学生的语言综合运用能力。
Read and fill in the blanks. 课件呈现三组关于Mike叔叔个人信息的句子，学生用特殊疑问词What, Where和How填空。课件呈现一组职业、工作地点及交通方式的词汇，学生将单词分成三类。 Look and say. 课件呈现职业的图片。学生运用所学句型询问他人的职业、工作地点和上班的方式，并做出回答。 —What does he/she do? —He’s/She’s a ... —Where does he/she work? —He/She works ... —How does he/she go to work? —He/She goes to work ... Pair work. 两名学生为一组，分别询问对方父母的职业、工作地点和上班的方式。 S1: What’s your father’s job? S2: My father is a ... S1: Where does he work? S2: He works in/on/at... S1: How does he go to work? S2: He goes to work by/on... ... Exercises. 完成两项课堂练习。（A. Read and match. B. Read and choose. ）
Step 4 Summary&Homework
小结：师生共同回顾本课时关于问答他人工作地点及上班方式的句型。作业：1. 背诵Let's talk部分的课文。 2. 完成本课时对应的练习。
