S: At Mid-Autumn Festival.
T: When is Mid-Autumn Festival?
S: On August 15th (lunar). (find the date frm the calendar)
(T: When there is a festival in the calendar, we can see the Chinese characters. Read ‘festival’ after me, please.)
Ask infrmatin abut ther festivals like this.
Step 2 Presentatin
1. Shw the pictures f Hallween, Mid-Autumn Festival, New Year’s Day, Christmas, Dragn Bat Festival and Thanksgiving Day, let the student tell the name f these festivals.
2. Divide students in grups f fur, discuss hw t celebrate them , at the same time, teach the new wrds.
3. Shw the descriptin f these festivals at the same time, let the students use the name f these festivals t cmplete the sentences.
4. Let the students lk at the six pictures and discuss:

Why d yu like it?
