设计说明 首先,通过展示传统服装的图片来复习表示衣服和颜色的单词,并利用这些图片导入对生词和短语的学习;接着,结合Let’s Do It? No. 1中的问题,展开对衣服的讨论,并导入新课;然后,通过听音给图片排序、读后回答问题、听音找短语等环节一步步深入学习课文内容,并利用图片和关键词复述课文;最后,处理Let’s Do It! No. 2 No. 3 No. 4的练习。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标: 1. 知识目标 掌握单词:world, report, traditional, India, pretty 接触单词:wow, sari, uniform 短语:look so pretty, in black and white 2. 能力目标 (1)能听懂有关不同服装的语段; (2)能用简短的英语描述不同地域的服装。 3. 情感目标 了解不同地区服饰文化的差异,并尊重彼此间的差异。 重点难点 1. 重点:掌握本课节新学的词汇。 2. 难点:能用简短的英语描述不同地域的服装。 教学准备 PPT 课件;本课节的有关音频。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up 1. Check the homework. 2. Show the class some pictures and review the words of clothes and colour by the following conversation.
A: What clothes is this? B: It’s a/an… A: What colour is it? B: It’s… A: Can you wear it? B: No, I can’t./Yes, I look nice in it. A: Who can wear it, a man or a woman? B: A man/A woman. Step 2 Presentation 1. Show the class some pictures and teach the new words world, traditional, sari, India, uniform, pretty and the phrases look so pretty, in black and white.

traditional clothes /trəˈdɪʃənl/ adj.传统的;惯例的 uniform /ˈjuːnɪfɔːm/ n.制服 Teacher says: Today we learn Clothes around the World.
2. Get the students to remember the new words and phrases. Step 3 Discussion Get the class to discuss the following questions. Then give the answers. Do all people wear uniforms for work? Can men wear skirts? Do people wear traditional clothes in your hometown (在你的家乡)? Do you wear a uniform for school? Step 4 Listening and numbering Play the recording for the class to listen and number the following pictures. Answers: (自左到右,自上而下) 4, 1, 6, 2, 5, 3 Step 5 Reading and answering Get the class to read the passage and answer the following questions. 1. What is Li Ming’s report about? 2. What clothes are so colourful? 3. What special clothes do men wear in some places? 4. Where is a sari from? 5. How do the women in black and white look? 6. What do many students wear? 7. What colour are our school uniforms? Answers: 1. It’s about clothes around the world. 2. Traditional clothes. 3. Skirts. 4. India. 5. They look so pretty. 6. They wear school uniforms. 7. Blue and white. Step 6 Listening and finding Play the recording for the class to listen and find the following phrases. 1. write a report about…写关于……的报告 2. around the world全世界 3. traditional clothes传统服饰,传统服装 4. in some places在一些地方 5. look beautiful in her Sari她穿着莎丽看起来很漂亮 6. wear uniforms for work穿着制服工作 7. look so pretty看起来很漂亮 8. in black and white身穿黑白相间的衣服 9. school uniform校服 10. what colour什么颜色 Step 7 Reading and retelling Show the class the pictures and key words. Get the class to read the passage by themselves and retell the passage.
Step 8 Exercises 1. Play the recording for the class to listen and number the pictures.(Let’s Do It! No. 2)

Answers: traditional, pretty, different Step 9 Writing Go through Let’s Do It! No. 4 and write a passage according to the example. Give the class other pictures.

These women look so pretty in black and white. 这些女士穿着黑白相间的衣服看起来很漂亮。 辨析:pretty与beautiful ① pretty侧重“娇小的”,是一种优雅的美,指女性时含有 “温柔,纤巧”之意;用于小孩时,指“漂亮的,可爱的”;用于事物时,指“美好的”。 She looks very pretty in that skirt. 她穿着那条短裙看起来很漂亮。 ② beautiful是普通用词,比pretty的语气强,侧重于温柔和优美,一般用来形容女子、儿童或景色。 That’s a beautiful country.那是个美丽的国度。 Step 12 Homework 1.
