Step Ⅰ 学习理解
活动一：感知与注意（Match and describe）
1. Match.
Ask students t g thrugh the three sentences and lk at the three pictures.
2. Describe.
（1）Describe what the peple are ding in the three pictures n Page 2, Part 1.
（2）The teacher prvides mre pictures abut the schl life and asks students t describe them.
【设计意图】通过匹配练习可以让学生熟悉学校的生活场景，习得学校生活的语言，如student ID card，exchange student，lecture hall，registratin ffice等。通过对课本提供的图片和老师提供的图片的描述，让学生用更多的新生入学的场景来描述和表达他们的生活。
活动二：获取与梳理
1. Listen and cmplete.（SB，P2，Part 2）
（1）Backgrund intrductin：Amy is getting her student ID card and having a dialgue at the registratin ffice.
（2）Listen t the first part f the cnversatin and try t cmplete the table.
（3）Strategy applicatin：Because there is a lt f infrmatin t fill, the teacher can ask students t write dwn the first letter r the first tw letters while listening and t write the full wrds after listening, s that students can save time.
2. Listen and tick.（SB，P2，Part 3）
（1）Backgrund intrductin：Max meets Amy in the dining hall. They are talking abut their favrite subjects.
（2）Listen t Cnversatin 2 and tick Max's favurite subject and Amy's favurite subject.
3. Listen and answer the questins.（SB，P2，Part 4）
（1）Backgrund intrductin：Amy is talking t Ms Li, a schl adviser, abut which curses t chse.
（2）Listen t Cnversatin 3 and answer the questins.
【设计意图】该环节主要目的是获取和梳理信息，设计了三个关联活动：首先通过对话获取Amy在登记室办理学生卡相关信息，然后听Max和Amy在餐厅讨论喜欢的科目，勾出他们各自喜欢的科目，最后是Amy向学校指导老师Ms Li咨询未来职业规划。这个过程渗透了听并且使用写下单词首字母快速记录的学习策略。
