1、receive与 accept

• receive表示客观上的 “收到，接到”或自然的 “获得”相当于get。

• （2）accept表示主观上的“接受”，或主观上“承认、赞同”一看法或理论。

e.g. The man ________ a letter just now.

The young man asked the girl to marry him, and the girl _______ it happily.

2、relaxing 和relaxed

e.g. ① A beautiful park is a good place _____________ (relax).

   ② Blue can make us feel _____________ (relax).

   ③ We watch a _____________ (relax) film after a hard day’s work.

3、pleasure /'pleʒə(r) / n. 高兴，乐意

• My pleasure. 不客气，通常对别人道谢的回答,相当于You are welcome. 还可表达为It’s my/ a pleasure.

• With pleasure. 乐意地，用于回答别人的请求。

e.g. ① --- Thank you for helping me.                 --- ____________.

e.g. ② --- Could you help me with my homework?      --- _____________.

• pleased  adj.，意为“高兴的；满意的”。

pleasant  adj.， 意为“令人愉快的，令人满意的，宜人的”。

e.g. 根据句意选用pleasure, pleased, pleasant填空。

(1) English teacher is_________ with me.

(2) We all enjoyed ourselves during the _______ trip.

(3) It's my _______ to share the umbrella with you.

4、关于use的短语用法

• use sth. to do sth 使用某物做某事

• use sth for sth. 为了…使用

• used to do sth. （用于过去持续或经常发生的事）曾经
• be/ get used to sth/ doing sth. 习惯于某事/做某事

eg: Have you used this before, Eddie? 艾迪，你之前使用过这个吗？

   What do you usually use your computer for?  你通常用电脑做什么？

   I usually use it to search for information.   我通常用它寻找信息。

5、notice sb. doing sth.与notice sb. do sth.

• notice sb. doing sth. 注意到某人正在做某事，强调动作正在发生。

• notice sb. do sth. 注意到人做某事，强调动作发生全过程或经常发生。

类似用法的有：see/watch/hear等

e.g.  Did you notice his hand ________? (shake)

He noticed Jack _______ into the book with a book in his hand.(walk)

6、hear的相关短语

• hear from sb. 收到某人的来信= receive a letter from sb.

• hear of : 听说过，听到；提起某事，直接指其对象。

• hear about: 听到/得知关于某人或某事的消息比 hear of知道的更详细，具体.

7、mind

① vt. 介意，在意

• mind sb. doing sth. 介意某人做某事，此处，sb用形容词性物主代词

e.g.: Do you mind my opening the window?

② n. 意识，主意    

• change one’s mind  改变某人的注意
• make up ones mind to do sth=decide to do决定

③ Never mind 没关系

e.g.: ---Sorry, I left my book at home.--- Never mind.

④ would you mind….的回答：

• 若是介意，则用：Sorry, I’m afraid you can’t./ You’d better not.
• 若是不介意，则用：Of course not./ Not at all.

e.g.: ---Would you mind showing me around your school?  --- Of course not.

8、search的用法

• search + 地点： 搜某地
• search 强调直接搜索（某人/ 某物/ 某地）
• search for是寻找，  search for food寻找食物

9、Just click on it, and you can visit Asia, Africa….

• 祈使句+ and +表结果的陈述句，相当于“if”引导的表肯定的条件状语从句。
• 祈使句+ or +表结果的陈述句，or表示“否则，要不然”，相当于“if”引导的表否定的条件状语从句。

e.g. Stand over there, _______ you’ll see the painting better.

Watch your step, _______ you might fall into the water．

10、方位词前的介词应用：in; on; to (以east为例)

•  in the east of… 表示前者在后者内部的东部，即前者属于后者。

e.g.: Shanghai is in the east of China.

•  on the east of…. 表示前者在后者的东部，但是两者相接壤。

e.g.: Korea is on the east of China.

•  to the east of…表示前者与后者即不包含，又不接壤，这种结构还可以写成：A is east of B.

e.g.: Japan is to the east of China. = Japan is east of China.

11、opposite

① n. 对立的人/物

e.g.: Tom is the opposite of his brother.

② adj. 对面的，对立的

e.g.: The answers to the questions are on the opposite page.

③ prep. 在…对面

e.g.: Marie sat opposite me at breakfast.

12、现在完成时的特殊句型：

• It’s +一段时间+since…(或It has been +一段时间+since…)

e.g.: It is 8 years since I came to Nanjing.

• This is the +形容词最高级+ 名词+ that +从句（从句用现在完成时）

e.g.: This is the saddest film that I have ever seen.

• There have/ has been …

e.g.: There have been great changes to my hometown in the past two years.

• It is the first / second/… time that+从句（从句用现在完成时）

e.g.: It is the first time that I have visited Beijing.

13、be famous for, be famous as 与 be famous to

• be famous for因……而出名，以……著称
• be famous as作为……而出名
• be famous to对……是熟悉的，为……熟知

e.g. ① 这个地区因绿茶而出名。The area ______ ______ ______its green tea.

②马克•吐温作为儿童故事作家而出名。Mark Twin _______ _______ ______a children-story writer.

③ 姚明为大家所熟知。Yao Ming ________ ________ _______ to us.
