    设计说明

      本节课是一节阅读课,由欣赏音乐开始,让学生有一种放松的感觉,然后通过师生间的自由交谈引出课外活动这一话题,从而导入2a的学习。在阅读过程中,教师可指导学生浏览2b所列的两个问题,预测课文的大意,明确第一遍阅读的目的,让学生仔细阅读课文,根据2c所提供的含义找到文中可匹配的词汇;让学生再次阅读课文,回答2d及教师补充的问题,考查学生分类、归纳、推理或总结的能力。

    教学目标

      1. 知识目标

      (1)掌握单词和短语:opinionskilltypicalfootballquickcontinuecomparecrazypushdevelopmentcauseusualcut outcompare...with

      (2)阅读课文“Maybe You Should Learn to Relax!”,学习并掌握课文中的重点短语、句型。

      2. 能力目标

      (1)能根据所掌握的词汇快速捕获文章信息。

      (2)通过阅读教学让学生掌握一些重点短语、句型,同时掌握根据上下文猜测词义的阅读方法。

      3. 情感目标

      了解中国及其他一些国家的中学生普遍存在的生活及学习上的问题,了解别人的生活现状及他们的苦恼,明白学习知识是很重要的事情,但它并不是生活的全部。

    重点难点

      1. 重点:

      (1)本课时单词与短语。

      (2)通过阅读教学让学生掌握一些重点短语、句型,同时掌握根据上下文猜测词义的阅读方法。

      2. 难点:

      能够熟练掌握文章中重点词汇的用法,同时能够复述课文。

      1. 准备与课文有关的图片。

      2. 准备录音机、磁带及多媒体课件。

      TDoing these activities can help lower your stress. And it can help to relax yourselves. Now look at the picture in 2b. What activity are they doing?

      TWhat other activities do you usually do after school? And what activities do you want to do but you can’t do? Please talk about them in groups.

      1. TThere are some after-school activities in 2a. What activities do you and your classmates usually do? Check them.

      2. Then write more activities you and your classmates usually do.

      3. Practice the new words. Check the preview.

      Step 4 Cooperative inquiry

      Discuss the following language points in groups and fill in the blanks.

      1. have a quick dinner = have dinner quickly,意为“迅速地吃晚饭”。

      2. It’s time for sth. It’s time to do sth. ,意为“该做某事了/到做某事的时间了”。

      It’s time for homework. = It’s time to do homework.

      3. continue 动词,意为“持续;继续存在”,其后可跟动词不定式或动词-ing形式

      The workers refused to continue working.

      工人们拒绝继续工作。

      4. compare 动词,意为“比较;对比”,常用短语:compare...with/to...,意为“把……和……相比较”。

      5. usual 形容词,意为“通常的;寻常的;惯常的”,常用短语as usual,意为“像往常一样”;其反义词为unusual,副词为usually

      和往常一样,一天结束时,我很累。

      I was very tired at the end of the dayas usual.

      6. not...until... 意为“直到……才……”。

      昨天晚上直到12点我才上床睡觉。

      I didn’t go to bed until twelve last night.

      7.the +姓氏复数”表示“……一家人”或“……夫妇二人”。the Greens意为“格林一家/格林夫妇”。

      8. cut out意为“删除”,是“动词+副词”构成的短语,宾语是人称代词时,人称代词要放在cutout之间。

      你应该把它删除。
