    “Hkwrm(钩虫) disease is quite cmmn in Australian sea lins,” Cper explains. “S scientists like Dr Gray are treating them with an antibitic(抗生素) t see if they can stamp it ut(消灭,根除).” High levels f mercury and ecli have als been discvered in their system. Tgether, these human pllutants weaken the sea lins’ immune(免疫的) systems. There are hpes that stamping ut hkwrm in Australian sea lins will give them a better chance f survival.
    The team’s visit t Kangar Island was n the eve f the deadly bushfires that swept thrugh much f the island, destrying wildlife and animal habitats.
