过程与方法
通过对话题Inventins进行形式多样的训练活动，以谈论发明史为交际功能，学会运用一般过去时态的被动语态的基本用法。
情感态度与价值观
了解一些近现代发明的时间及用途，激发自己热爱发明的情感。培养想象力，善于观察事物。面对难题，用积极的态度去解决，发挥想象力，认识世界，改造世界。
本课重点
1) 本课时的单词、词组和句型，学习运用一般过去时态的被动语态。
2) 学会询问发明时间及用途的基本句型：
—When was the telephne invented? —I think it was invented in 1876.
—What are they used fr? —They are used fr seeing at night.

运用一般过去时态的被动语态来讨论科技发明的发明时间及用途。

1.观看视频，了解中国四大发明之一造纸术的发明。 展示一些近代发明的图片与近代发明的发明者，让学生们将图片与发明者相连。

Let Ss match the inventins and the inventrs.
创设真实的语言交际情景，利用图片展示，师生互动交流，让学生围绕“发明”话题进行讨论，为接下来的听力做铺垫。

Ⅱ. Presentatin
引导学生们学习一般过去时态的被动语态结构。
让学生们看大屏幕的如果爱和发明者的图片,并将句子改为被动语态。
如：
T: Karl Benz invented the first car in 1885.
The first car was invented (by Karl Benz) in 1885.
使用PPT课件，展示汽车、电话、电脑和电视等不同物品，让学生猜是什么时候发明的，然后导入新课。
Ⅲ. Talking
1. Lk at the pictures in 1a. Discuss with yur grup, in what rder d yu think they were invented? Try t number them [1-4].
2. Ss discuss with their partners and number the pictures.
3. Talking abut the inventins:
A: I think the TV was invented befre the car.
B: Well, I think the TV was invented after the TV.
通过按照物品发明的时间先后顺序进行排序训练，帮助学生初步体验一般过去时态的被动语态，同时为接下来 的听力训练做好铺垫。
Ⅳ. Listening (1b)
1. T: Tell Ss lk at the pictures and years n the left.
2. Play the recrding fr the Ss t listen.
3. Ss listen t the cnversatin and try t match the inventin with the prper year.
4. Play the recrding again.
5. Check the answers.
围绕中心话题Inventins进行一定的语音学习和积累，通过初听培养听取大意的能力，再通过细听培养听取关键有效信息的能力。

1. Ss try t remember the inventin and the year.
2. Student B, cver the dates. Student A, ask Student B when the things in the picture in 1b were invented. Then change rles and practice again.
3. Let sme pairs ask and answer in pairs.
e.g. A: When was the telephne invented?
B: I think it was invented in 1876.
本部分的口语训练是听力部分内容信息的语言输出，在情境中操练一般过去时态的被动语态，锻炼学生的口头表达能力。
