四、任务型阅读。
Some of us teenagers in Norway don’t know how lucky we are. We have food, clothes, money and families, but we don’t appreciate (感激) all these things. When I think about the large number of teenagers in Africa and South America who don’t own these, I just start to think about what I really use my money for. I often spend money on unnecessary things like candy or chocolate.
I get 20 dollars each week. All the money is gone in half a week. Instead of spending the money on things that I didn’t need, I could have donated it to those who needed it. Many teenagers in Africa are struggling (挣扎)
for life with maybe only 2 dollars each month, while I am complaining that I don’t have enough money. I don’t need to have a job. I get money from my mother. Most African teenagers don’t get any money from their parents. They have to work to make a living, though badly-paid. Is that really fair? If teenagers in Norway start spending less money on themselves but more on others, the world would be a better place for everyone.
When I get a little older and can get a job, I will start donating money to Africa or South America. It is really important that we stop spending all our money on useless things and show our love to others.
