This module takes environmental pollution as well as environmental protection as the topic. It is about environmental protection through factory environmental pollution, promoting green living, exercise students’ ability of language expression, and improve students ‘ awareness of environmental protection through this unit of listening and reporting activities, provide students with opportunities to experience and use the language.

This module talks about environmental pollution and environmental protection, pollution problems are common, students have more personal experience, easy to stimulate students’ interest in learning.

Teaching Procedures:
Step 1 Warming up
Pollution is our great enemy, and we have to fight against the pollution.
Play a video that is about the pollution of the world to hold the attention of the students’. And then make students to answer the questions about it.

Step2 New words
Give some pictures to show the new words of this lesson: factory, pollute, recycle, waste, enemy, crop, kill, oil, less, such as, hopeless.
Step3 Practicing
Practice the new words and the short phrases in the sentences. Make students fill in the blanks with the new words and short phrases.
Step4 Reading
Make students to read the passage for 5 minutes and find out the important information.
Step 5 Writing
After reading complete the notes.
