Ⅰ.Leading In:
1.Free talk
教师随意将Let's learn部分的卡片张贴在教室的各个角落并模仿某种动物的动作及声音和学生问好.如教师站在一张狮子卡片面前:
T: Hello, boy and girls! (教师故意将声音压低,做有关狮子的典型动作)
Ss: Hello, Lion.
T: Are you bears?
Ss: Yes. (一些学生快速做出熊的典型动作)
T: Nice to meet you. (教师亲切地和做动作的学生握手或者拥抱)
Ss: Nice to meet you, too.
T: Nice to meet you. (教师亲切地和做动作的学生握手或者拥抱)
Ss: Nice to meet you, too.
T: Ha – ha ... I'm a monkey! (教师快速跑到报子的卡片跟前,做出猴子的动作)
Are you monkeys?
Ss: Yes. (一些学生快速做出猴子的典型动作)
T: Nice to meet you. (教师亲切地和学生握手或者拥抱).
2.Leading - in
(1)教师请一名学生将准备好的一些动物教学卡片贴在黑板上.
(2)教师不可以看黑板,需戴上眼罩站在黑板一侧.
(3)教师站在黑板前,随意摸到一张卡片和学生做如下对话:
T: Are these bears?
Ss: No, they aren't. (学生可能只会回答Yes或No,教师要引导学生说出句子)
T: Are these monkeys?
Ss: No, they aren't.
T: Are these pandas?
Ss: Yes, they are.
Ⅱ.Presentation:
1.Ask and answer
教师随意拿一张熊猫教学卡片,和在座的同学做如下问答:
T: Are these bears?
Ss: No, they aren't.
T: Are these pandas?
(教师板书,并用不同的颜色分别标出“Are", "these”和“?”)
Ss: Yes, they are.
T: Yes! These are pandas.
2.Let's go to the zoo!
首先教师安排学生按照各自所做的头饰分类坐好,然后教师戴上导游证,手里拿着红旗带领几个小朋友进行参观动物园的场景模拟.
教师引导学生边参观动物园边做问答练习,如:当他们走到一群猴子(戴猴子头饰的学生)面前时,教师非常惊喜地问: Oh, boys and girls! Look! What are these? Are these pandas? 并引导学生做出回答: No, they aren't. They are monkeys. 然后再问: How many monkeys are there? 引导学生将数词和名词结合起来巩固练习,如: One monkey, two monkeys, three monkeys.
接着教师再远远地指着两只大象(戴大象头饰的学生)问: Look! Boys and girls, what are those? 引导其中一名参观者问: Are those...? 学生根据实际情况做出回答: Yes, they are. / No, they aren't. Those are elephants. 教师再启发其他参观者问: How many elephants are there? 引导学生边数边回答: One elephant, two elephants.其他同上.
Ⅲ.Practice Activities: Ask and answer
1.教师向学生讲清楚本部分的问答要求,即: 根据图片仿照所给出的示范对话进行问答练习,充分练习What are these ...? They are … / Are those ..., too? / No, they aren't. They are ... 句型, 既是对之前所学词汇的复习, 也是对本单元重点句型的一个巩固训练.
2.教师让学生将示范对话中第2,3句中的oranges,第4句中的pears用笔圈出来,并引导学生根据图片将这些词做出相应的替换.
3.教师可根据教学需要,让学生在每幅图的物品下方写上相应的名称,巩固已学词汇的拼写,这里教师要强调学生注意名词的复数形式.
4.请同桌两人一组,训练问答该部分.
5.教师组织全班学生问答,可以是组与组之间,也可以男女生之间,为更多的学生提供多说多练的机会.
