【教学目标】
1.知识目标:能熟练掌握14-16这些数字和单词banana, grapes, strawberry.
2.能力目标:能将所学的交际用语用于日常交际.
3.情感目标:激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣.
4.学习策略目标:通过小组活动培养学生的合作精神和竞争意识.
【教学重难点】
在任务中引导学生积极运用所学英语14-16这些数字进行表达和交流,使学生的多元智能在交际活动中得以体现和发展.
【教学准备】
课件、卡片,跳绳,各种小贴画.
【教学过程】
Ⅰ.Warming-up exercises
Greetings.
T: There are some teachers in the classroom. Let's greet to them.
Ss: Hello! Hi! Good morning! How are you?
Chant and dance together.
Ⅱ.Revision.
T: How many trees are there on the blackboard? Let's count together.
Ss: One two three.
T: I have prepared a lot of fruit for you. But what fruit do you like? Now, let's s make a survey in groups and then get the fruit here. We have three groups here. Let's name each group with the fruits and fruit names.
Group One, apple is red and round.Do you like apples?
S: Yes.
Teacher can also ask the group members “What about you?”
T: OK. You are Apple Group. The first group is Apple Group. Here's a plate of apples and an apple tree for you.
S: Thank you.
T: Group Two, what do you like, oranges or bananas?
S: Oranges.
T: OK. You are Orange Group.
S: Orange Group, come on, come on.
T: Here's a plate of oranges and an orange tree for you. Group Three, pears are yellow and sweet. Do you like pears?
S: Yes, we do.
T: You are Pears Group. Here's a plate of pears and a pear tree for you.
T: Who would like to be the group leader? You are the assessment group members today. Remember it's an English party. So let's speak English. No Chinese, OK? We are going to assess you in these 3 points.
Show the assessment card.Tell them that the whole course of their activity is to be assessed and the best group is the winner.
T: If you are good at 1 point. That's OK. You will get a small sticker. If you are good at 2 points. That's good.You will get a medium sticker. If you are good at 3 points. That's great. You will get a big size sticker. Please try harder.
T: Look at this picture. Which numbers can you see?
Ss: One two three four five six seven eight nine ten.
T: How many numbers can you see?
Ss: Ten.
Ⅲ.Presentation
T: Today we'll study "How many…?"
T: Look! Balloons! How many balloons can you see? (课件显示15个飘动的气球)
Ss: 15.
T: Yes, it's fifteen. (贴英语卡片)
Use the same method to teach Ss. how to read "fourteen, thirteen, twelve, and eleven".
(全班读、开火车读、比赛读、小老师领读、男女生读、高低音读.)
(出示数字卡通卡片,从小学生的心理特点出发,数字拟人化.)
T: I have five numbers. Guess, what's in my hand? If you are right, the number is for you.
Ss: Guessing the numbers:11,12,13,14,15.(此时不忘学习语言的目的是为了应用,很自然的应用.)
T: Look carefully! What's missing? (请学生猜猜老师拿走了黑板上的哪张卡片)
T: The numbers and the words are good friends. Can you match them? (请学生把数字与英文单词相匹配,同时播放音乐)
T: Boys and girls, are you tired? Let's do body exercises, OK? Boys and girls. Stand up, please. Do the action and say after me.
Ss&T: Express 1--10 with body. (伸出两手的大拇指说one one one one one;伸出食指和中指做小兔状蹦蹦跳跳two two two two two two;伸出三只指头做小猫状说Three, three, three three three;伸出四根手指头左右摆动说Four four four four four;伸出手掌两人互相击掌说Five five five five five;伸出拇指和小指做打电话状说Six six six six six;伸出拇指、食指和中指做夹子状说Seven seven seven seven seven;伸出拇指和食指做开枪状说Eight eight eight eight eight;弯曲食指做拉钩状说Nine nine nine nine nine;两手举起向上说Ten ten ten ten ten )
T: Let's play a game about numbers(一闪而过)Look , Which number ?
课件说明:在电脑中快速闪过一个英语数字,让学生说出刚才闪过是是哪个数字,学生回答后电击鼠标则会出现刚闪过的英语数字,学生判断对错并齐读.
Ss: Say the numbers loudly.
T: I have some balloons. How many balloons can you see?
课件说明:在电脑屏幕上出现15个飘动的气球,点击任何一个气球该气球就会爆炸.教师接着问:How many balloons can you see? 然后让学生自己上台操作电脑并向同学提问.
Ss look and answer: I can see fifteen\fourteen balloons .
T: I have some apples. How many apples can you see ?
课件说明:在电脑屏幕上出现13个又红又圆的苹果,点击任何一个苹果则会出现一只蚂蚁把苹果搬走.教师接着问:How many apples can you see? 然后学生自己上台操作电脑并向同学提问.
Ss look and answer: I can see thirteen\twelve\eleven apples .
T: Let's read after the computers. Ready, go !
课件说明:在电脑屏幕上出现fifteen\fourteen\thirteen\twelve\eleven这五个新单词,点击任何一个单词则会出发出读音.让学生跟读,培养学生的听力和读英语的能力.
Ss: fifteen \ fourteen \ thirteen \ twelve \ eleven.
Ⅳ.Drills
1.Line up every group.(课件出示报数要求,学生依次报数,比一比哪组同学报数时读音准、速度快.)
2.Game: Who is the biggest?
课件说明:在电脑屏幕上出现一组组数字,如15 eleven thirteen,让学生快速判断哪个数字最大并大声用英语说出它,反应最快的同学可以为本组赢得一枚标志并自己把它贴在本组的树上.
3.Quick response
课件说明:在电脑屏幕上出现一组组算术,如2×3+5=?thirteen-eleven =?fifteen-5=?等,让学生快速算出并用英语回答,反应最快的同学同样可以为本组赢得一枚标志并自己把它贴在本组的树上.
引导学生说出中国人的幸运数字6,8,9和忌讳数字4;介绍西方的幸运数字7和忌讳数字13,对比中西方文化差异.
Let's have a competition about jumping.
数各组贴画水果个数,以评出本节课的获胜小组.(学生们异常兴奋,课堂气氛达到高潮.)
【作业布置】
将fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, banana, grapes, strawberry默写5遍.
