Step 1情景导入
T:Do you like taking photos?
S1:I like it.But I can\'t take good photos.
T:Then, what about your friends?
S2:My friend Xiao Chao does it well.
T:Do you like his photos?
S2:Yes.but the photos which I like best are taken by my uncle.
T:Has your uncle taken part in the photo competition?
S2:Of course. The Green World which he took won the first prize last week.
T:Congratulations to him.
环节说明:本活动的目的在于激发学生的学习兴趣,导入本课话题,让学生全身心地参与到教学活动当中。交流中呈现新的定语从句,以引起学生对语法知识的注意。
Step 2完成教材Activities 1,2的任务
1.Look at the picture and the subjects of the photo competition. Which subject does this photo belong to?
(1)让学生就教材中的图片进行描述,思考它属于哪一种类型的照片。然后学习文中照片四大类型的相关词汇“City and People, Music, Home and Away, Nature”。
(2)教师可准备一些照片,让学生讨论区分它们又是属于什么类型的。(Answer:Nature)
(3)如果学生水平比较高的话,可以采用小组活动的方式,让学生描述图片。
环节说明:本活动是读前活动,要求学生选择图片的主题。理解图片的分类,为正文学习做铺垫。
2.Read the passage and check your answer to Activity 1. Find out who took the photo. (Activity 2)
(1)教师让学生快速阅读文章,找出获奖照片作者。
(2)两人一组核对答案。(Answer:Li Wei)
(3)如果学生水平比较高的话,可以让学生用自己的话简单描述获奖照片,提高学生的语言表达能力。

根据句意及首字母提示或者中文意思填空。
