Sentence patterns: Where did you go on vacation? I went to .... Did you go out with anyone? Yes, I did/No, I didn’t How was the food? Everything tasted really good. 3. To master the usage of compound indefinite pronouns:( something, anything... ) Processes and Methods: Task-based and communication method. Group work. Emotion objectives: 1. To help students enjoy life by learning to enjoy different arrangements. 2. Get them know well about the importance of showing love to parents and be thankful. |

教学过程 | 1. Warming up : lead in (1)Free talk with students:. 1) How was your weekend? 2) where did you go? 3) What did you do? 4) Did anyone feed hens/pigs? 5) Did anyone buy anything? 6) Did anyone read anything interesting? 7) Did anyone keep a diary? Help them to answer the questions to review the usage of the simple past tense. And in this way to lead in the Topic: Grammar Focus: The Simple Past Tense. The compound indefinite pronouns. (2)Report: Ask students to give a report according to the conversations between the teacher and the students. Pay attention to the usage of the Simple Past Tense and the usage of the compound indefinite pronouns. (3)Showing the pictures of different vacation activities and help students to use these phrases to talk about the vacation activities. Make them be familiar with the target phrases in this period: few, quite a few, something, nothing,everyone, of course, myself yourself, hen, pig, seem, bored, someone, diary long time no see, was on vacation, went anywhere interesting, quite a few, took photos, anything special, stayed at home, most of the time, bought sth for sb, had fun, fed hens, the only problem was that.... seemed to ...., be bored. (4)Video(Huangguoshu Waterfall): Talk about the trip to the Huangguoshu Waterfall(Watch the vidoes and answer these questions) 1) Where is Huanggoushu Waterfall? 2) What do you think of it? 3) Did you go there? 4) Did you do anything special there? 5) Did you take any photos there? (5)Lead in the new words: Read loudly and try to recognize the new words. 2. Presentation: 1) Show the new words on the screen. Teach the new words. Read after the tape. 2) Read the phrases loudly to get familiar with them. 3) Listen to the tape and answer the questions: What did Helen do last moth? Did she go anywhere interesting? Who did she go with? Did she see Huangguoshu waterfall? How did she think of the trip? What else did she do there? Did Rick do something special? 4) Role-play the conversation (1) Group work:Boy-- Rick Girls-- Helen (2) Pair work: A--- Rick B--- Helen (3) Role-play: Act the conversation out. 3. Presentation: Grammar Focus 1) Read loudly. Focus on Simple Past Tense and Compound Indefinite Pronouns. 2) The usage of Simple Past Tense: Using the mind-map to show the points. 3) The structures of the Simple Past Tense: The forms of sentences and the rules of “-ed” 4. Cooperative Inquiring learning 1) Write the correct forms of the verbs below(Past Forms of the verbs) 2) Put the following sentences into English. 5. Presentation: The compound indefinite pronouns 1) Watch a video (beach song) 2) What? Who?How? 3) Describe the video: They went to the beach, they swam in the water. And the father bought something special for his children. They thought everything was excellent, the food tasted really good. They did something interesting. They loved the vacation. 4) Indefinite pronouns Show the chart of the words with Chinese meaning 5)The usage of compound indefinite pronouns 6. Cooperative Inquiring learning 1) Finish 3a. Grasp the usage of compound pronouns 2) Finish 3b. Retelling the conversation of 3a 3) Finish 3c.
