    The teacher leads students t recall what they have learnt in the last class.
    T: Last class we learnt smething abut Zheng He and Christpher Clumbus’s sailing the ceans.Then can yu have a summary accrding t their first vyages, places f arrival, ttal number f vyages and significance?

    The teacher leads students t learn sme key wrds and phrases in the articles.
    Wrd study:strengthen
    T asks Ss t explain the meaning f strengthen in the first article, line 15.
    T: Zheng He ttally had seven vyages, which had a great influence n the cuntries and regins where he set ft. S his effrts made the harmnius relatins with these cuntries and regins strnger. Then d yu knw the meaning f strengthen here?
    Then the teacher gives an example:

    The bss insists that she cme.=The bss insists that she shuld cme.
