Procedure | 1. Lead In Step 1:Answer a question:How do you study English? Step 2:Show the ways of studying English and lead into the topic. 2. Key Words Step1:Guess the key words from picture. Step 2:Get the words’ meaning from the pictures and parts of speech→pronunciation→spelling→making words→other word shape. Step 3:Change the shape of the words and give some tips about the words. Click the question at first and make the students’ think about it, and then check the answer. Step 4:Read the key words together. 3. Phrases Step 1:Learn the phrases’ meaning according to the different parts of speech, in order to learn their usage and give some tips about it. 4. Fast Reading Activity One :3a Read the passage about Wei Fen and answer the questions. Look through the questions and analyze some words and sentences. Activity Two :According to three steps to look through the text to get the main idea. 5. Careful Reading Step 1:According to some pictures to make a sentence. Step 2:Analyze some words and sentences, and expand some key points. Step 3:Read carefully, and translate the text by students. Step 4:Retell the story according to the pictures. 6.Key Points Step 1:Expand the phrase according to the phrase structure, remember the phrases deeply and use them flexibly and correctly. Step 2:Summarize the key points. 7.Sentences Step 1:Translate the two sentences firstly, and then analyze the structure. Step 2:Doing some exercises within the time given to train students’ abilities of getting the key words. 8. Summary Step 1:Review the key word. Students speak out the answer and read together . Step 2:Review the phrase. Students speak out the answer and read together . Step 3:Review the sentence. Students speak out the structure together. 9. Practices Practice One: Fill in the blanks with the correct forms. Practice Two:Complete the sentences with phrases what we’ve learned. |
