Step 1 Leading in

1.Greet the class.

2.Review the grammar points.

Step 2 Work on 3a-3b

1.Let the students observe the picture and describe what they are doing.

2.Ask the students to complete the letter in 3a.

3.Check the answers together.

4.Ask the students to introduce their families according to the photos they bring or draw.Write them down on their notebooks.

5.Invite several students to introduce in front of the class.

Step 3 Work on Self Check

1.Finish Self Check 1.

(1)Let the students observe the change of the words and conclude the changing rules.

(2)Ask two or three students to share their findings.

(3)Get the students to add more words in the chart.Then let them make sentences using the words.

(4)Make two or three students act out their sentences.

2.Finish Self Check 2.

(1)Let the students complete the practice.

(2)Check the answers with the whole class.
