1. Enjoy a movie. And tell us what animals you can see.

3. Show the topic “Fantastic Animals”.

三.  Text learning.

（一）Show 5 pictures of animals.

（二）Show 5 general questions about the text. Let’s quickly read through the text, and think about the questions.

1. Which dad has babies?

2. How long do turtles live?

3. Why do rabbits have big ears?

4. Why do birds have feathers?

5. Are spiders insects?

（三）Try to answer the questions.

1. Which dad has babies?

Seahorse’s dad has babies.

Why can seahorse’s dad have babies?  /  

Are seahorses horses? No, they aren’t. They’re fish. Their heads look like horses’ heads.

Father seahorse has the babies. Mother kangaroo has the babies.

2. How long do turtles live? They can live for a very long time. Some are more than two hundred years old.

Do turtles have babies or eggs?  Can father turtles have the eggs?

3. Why do rabbits have big ears?

They can hear very well. They can hear dangerous animals coming and run away.

They can also keep their body cool.

How can rabbits keep cool?

4.Why do birds have feathers? What other things can the feathers do ?

5. Are spiders insects?  No, they aren’t.

How many legs do spiders have?  They have got 8 legs.
