    Part 1. Analysis f the teaching materials.
    1. The status and functin
    This lessn is an imprtant lessn in Unit 3. Frm this lessn we can learn abut different animals in the wild and explre the dangers that are threatening the existence f certain species. Let students share sme interesting stries abut animals, s imprve the students` reading abilities. These are my analysis f the status and functin.
    2.Analysis f the students
    As we all knw, students are the mst imprtant part in the class. S we must make ur teaching atmsphere relaxing and happy t make the students as hsts in the class. They are yung beginners in English learning, their English is still pr, but they are active. S I must try my best t imprve their abilities f listening, speaking reading and writing. These are my analysis f the students.
    Accrding t the abve analysis, I’ll say teaching aims and demands frm the fllwing three parts.
    3.Teaching aims and demands.
    (1).Knwledge bjects:
    Enable students t master sme imprtant wrds: muse(mice,)lay(laid,laid),shake(shk,shk),avid,lng—nsed,lng-eared,jerba,Kiwi,eggplant,flap.
    Enable students t master sme imprtant phrases: be famus fr, up t, lk like ,a natinal animal,
    (2).Ability bjects:
    I want t develp the students’ abilities f reading English and imprve the students’ understanding ability.
    (3).Mral bjects:
    After learning this lessn, I hpe my students will be interested in learning English, practicing animals.
    4.Teaching key and difficult pints.
    Accrding t all the abve, I think key pints f this lessn are imprtant, and the difficult pints f this lessn are hw t write an animal in English.
    5.Teaching aids.
    I’ll use the tape recrder and the Teaching CD t help me finish this lessn.
    Part 2.The teaching methd
    Accrding t the students’ abilities, I’ll use the fllwing teaching methds:
    student-centered teaching methd, task-based teaching methd and activity-based teaching methd.
    Part 3. Studying ways.
    As we all knw, students have learned English fr abut tw years, and they can speak simple English, s I’ll ask the students t have a full preparatin befre the class, such as the pictures f the animals, the music f the ANIMAL WORLD and lead the students t take part in all the activities t read, express and think in English.
    Part 4. Teaching prcedures
    I’ll finish this lessn in seven steps. First, I’ll divide the students int fur grups, and bring a cmpetitin int the class . At last, let’s see which grup is the winner.
    Step 1: Warm-up
    T imprve the spken English f my students , First, I’ll greet the class as usual, and let the students sing the sng “ Pretty Little Plant” f Lessn 12. I think singing a wnderful sng can heat the classrm’ atmsphere. Next, I’ll ask them t make dialgues as many as pssible within ne minute grup by grup withut repetitin. Find ut which grup will make the mst dialgues.
    Step2: Free talk (task 1)
    I hpe students can cmmunicate with each ther and practice speaking and listening in this activity. S I’ll ask the students t talk abut why they learn English in small grups. Then I will let sme vlunteers share their pinins with the whle class. Maybe they will give me many different pinins: we must have tests. Peple all ver the wrld are learning English…
    Step 3: Lead in
    In rder t raise students’ interests, befre the class read the text, I’ll play them the music f the ANIMAL WORLD and ask sme questins f the sng in English.
    Step 4: Listening
    T imprve their listening abilities and skills, I’ll play the auditape, ask the students t clse their bks and listen carefully with sme simple questins, I’ll play the tape twice. Find ut which grup will answer the questins crrectly.

    Step 5: Acting (task 2)
    T imprve the students’ expressin ability ,I’ll give the students sme time t read the text in grups. Then ask the fur grups t present the meaning f the text . Find ut which grup will be the best.
    Step 6: Let’s d it (task 3)
    T imprve the students’ writing and reading abilities ,I’ll let them read the text again and finish the” Let D It” Part (3). Try t use the expressin they have learned in this lessn.
    Step 7: Class clsing
    summarize (key wrds and sentences)
    I think hmewrk is s imprtant that the students shuld d sme extensive exercises after class t cnslidate the knwledge they learned. S I’ll let them d the fllwing hmewrk:
    write a shrt passage abut an animal r a pet, accrding t the text.
    Learn the new wrds and expressin by heart.
